been debating on getting these for a long time now. I just got my X in the mail yesterday and I’m kind of tired of having to plug my EarPods in. I have a cheap pair of jabra Bluetooth earbuds, but like i said they are cheap quality .

How the sound quality of the AirPods when paired with the X? (Don’t know if the phone being the X would even make a difference honestly)

I really like them too. For me, the bass isn't as much as the ones that go further in the ear, but I still like the way they sound.

What I like the most is that when I pull them out of their storage case, they're 100% charged. With other headsets, I didn't have the discipline to "manage" their battery levels so well, which meant I'd usually wind up with them going dead when I didn't want them to. And having to plug the old ones into the wall to charge meant I'd often forget them at home.

Yeah that convenience and form factor is a huge selling point to me. Also I won’t have to pair them to all of my other apple devices , which would be awesome.

Aw screw it, I’m buying them later lol

Many threads praising them here.

Googles offering seems to have been more of a miss. Airpods are the best all-round package for those in the IOS ecosystem.

You have to at least give them a try for 13 days.

Edit...i've had them for almost 365 days myself...........just as good as they were back when I bought them.

So long as they fit your ears & can adapt to Siri.

You will absolutely love them. They are a product that make it super convenient to do a lot of things.

However, I have been expericing slight static in just my phone calls. Its very subtle but its there for me. Otherwise the music sounds great! Its really awesome and every single rupee.

I don't use my AirPods as often as I thought I would, but I'm still very content with my purchase. They're extremely handy to tuck in a pocket, pull out and pop in whenever I need to use them. The cordless design means you're not accidentally pulling them out of your ears, and they'll automatically pause whichever music or video you're listening to when you remove one. That's pretty much my entire use case, but for me, definitely worth it.

The AirPods are one of my favorite purchases next to the Apple Watch with in the last year. It's not so much that they have the highest sound quality, it's the convenience and simplicity to use them with your iPhone. It's the little features that conveniently make them a pleasure to use and be wire free.

Love mine! I originally bought them to only have my Apple watch s3 at the gym with them but i see myself using them a lot lol

I have an s3 also so the uses at the gym are going to be great. I’ll actually be able to leave my phone in the car and not have to stow my X in a locker, pocket , uncomfortable arm band or laying on the cup holder on a treadmill haha

Glad everyone is happy with their purchase. Pretty much confirms it for me and it makes me feel more comfortable dropping the $159 for them
[doublepost=1510940743][/doublepost]Aaaaaaand I got em!! Pairing was an awesome experience and they sound a lot better than expected . Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Cheers!

I got them for free when I bought my iX, and I REALLY dig them. The battery life and ease of charging is just so great. Only 2 things I don't like are that you cannot control volume w/o siri, and this part is just a personal thing butttt. I have slight cauliflower from jiu jitsu and wrestling, so I kind of have to angle buds to get what I feel is the most comfortable and snug fit. Due to the angle, and the lack of wires, it looks like I have tampons sticking out of my head... not a great look lol

I don't know if they were blowing smoke up my ass and it was a promotion for everyone else or not but it basically went like this. Walked in on launch date around 10am just to see if anything was left. They were literally receiving their shipment just then, and the guy said I lucked out. He went to grab the phone from his manager and supposedly the manager said since I was the first in store purchase that I could get $200 in accessories "free" I just have to pay taxes. So I got the airpods, belkin wireless charger, and a case.

What was really cool, was that my fiance had just upgraded to the 8 2 weeks earlier (she had her own plan through a different carrier). They were running a promotion where if you get the iX you get an 8 for free. She was able to return her phone and contract, add onto my account, and got a free phone.

One of Apple's best products for a while - and this is coming from a huge Apple critic. Only thing is that you get lots of odd looks in the streets. But they sound great, they're simple, convenient and they 'just work.'

Good deal . My job has a promo that when you preorder the X, you got $100 in free accessories . That didn’t include the air pods or beats headphones though lol. No big deal, I’m happy with my purchase

My Airpods are my favorite purchase ever. I had been using earbuds with that wire that goes around your neck. On calls I'd pull one bud out then I was annoyed with it pulling from one side or getting hung up in my hair. Long story short I'm in love with my Airpods. Airpods are the easiest to use and sound good enough for me.

I purchased a pair of earbuddys for use when I needed to make sure they are more secure..even working out my Airpods stay in.

I got mine for exercising as wired headphones are inconvenient and the Bluetooth ones with the connecting wire/band sticks to my neck and pulls out of my ears.

My Airpods immediately replaced my wired headphones full time.

You paid the taxes which sounds like they roped you into doing an installment plan for the accessories. I'd keep an eye on your bill next month to see if thats the case.

I'll get $100 back on mine because I switched to Verizon. They work very well, and best of all, no wires.

I had a pair stolen from my car and I didn’t hesitate to buy another pair. They’re one of the best products Apple has released in awhile.

As a side note, the AirPods seems to work better and connect faster with my iPhone X
