I really like them, my only complaint is while they are great when there is pretty much silence in the room, if anyone starts banging about it almost amplifies the sound. Would love a noise canceling version.

been debating on getting these for a long time now. I just got my X in the mail yesterday and I’m kind of tired of having to plug my EarPods in. I have a cheap pair of jabra Bluetooth earbuds, but like i said they are cheap quality .

How the sound quality of the AirPods when paired with the X? (Don’t know if the phone being the X would even make a difference honestly)

Love them. I've had Bose, and Jaybirds, and finally after my jaybirds died, I got the air pods. My favorite ones by far due to how easy they are to use and switch between my Apple Watch, iPad, MAC and iPhone. They also don't fall out of my ear when I cut the yard on the riding lawn mower, etc. The sound quality is really good too and I can hear people when they are in so it's a nice change.

Where do you guys use your AirPods at mostly? Where do you tuck them at?

I think the biggest selling point is that you can shove them in your pocket and have them with you all the time. Can’t really do that with other Bluetooth earphones that have the rubber neckband.

Love mine. I bought them for the gym. Wired ones are just inconvenient and the regular Bluetooth ones with the rubberised band connecting the pods stick to my neck and pull the pods out of my ears.

The Airpods stay put. Whether I am upside down or doing high knees, they do not come out.

They have completely replaced my wired headphones.

The AirPods are one of my favorite purchases next to the Apple Watch with in the last year. It's not so much that they have the highest sound quality, it's the convenience and simplicity to use them with your iPhone. It's the little features that conveniently make them a pleasure to use and be wire free.
Yeah all the little things add up to a great accessory.

Unfortunately, the new Google variant appears the opposite - where the little things are annoyances that add up to an undesirable experience.

I say unfortunate because I always hope another brand improve on Apple & force them to up their game in their next iteration.

Anyway, I found another good use for the Airpods today - both CarPlay Maps & my cars Navigation programs refused to work today. My phone wasn't being detected by my cars head unit, so in order to use Maps on my phone & to avoid using the speaker phone, I plugged in the Airpods, fired up Google Maps (which I prefer to Apple's version) & was able to hear the turn by turn instructions (& my music) clearly.

I use them mostly in my home, yard, and with my earbuddy's to secure them I use them for workouts and even for those long soaks in the tub. I use them for calls, internet radio, podcast, YouTube, and Netflix on my iPad. I carry them in my pocket.

If I lost or broke them I would 100% buy another set.

Work, gym, shopping, public transport, sometimes when driving....pretty much everywhere.

The case is half the pleasure of the package....all my recent pant purchases have been with a coin pocket as that's where the Airpods reside. :D

I really wish they fit my ears! I have very small ear canals, and the design of the AirPods/EarPods is just not comfortable.

I wish they went the JayBirds route, with adjustable sized silicone inserts, but I know that’s not the Apple aesthetic.

Looks like many of you are very happy with them. I really want to purchase them but since they have been out for a while I feel like they will release the second version, I’m thinking maybe in the spring? Anyone heard anything if there’s a second version coming soon?

Mine are in my car key pocket inside their case.

I love love love my airpods. Most magical apple device in years - and I used to hate the regular earpods!

Seeing as how they are just a year in December and only just caught up to demand I don’t expect a refresh for a while.

Got my AirPods on a sale a month ago to prepare for the headphone jack-less iPhone X.
They have put quite a few smiles on my face when I find out new things I can do, that I didn't before because of the cord. Cordless headphones are the future.

Only thing I'm adjusting to is when I have a beanie outside and I'm on the phone, I try to not cover the ears so people can see the AirPods and don't think I'm crazy or taking to them.

I got mine since about four months and I like them. Even if they don't match perfectly into my ears they hold good enough for everyday usage.
Mostly I use them for listening to Spotify on my iPhone or to watch short videos on Youtube. To watch Netflix I prefer regular headphones.

There are far better sounding (wired) headphones out there for sure but the AirPods are a very good compromise between wired headphones and Bluetooth headphones. They are very good allrounder and the battery last more than enough for me (including the range extender called battery case).
Cons are in my opinion the limited water resistance, also it could isolate a little bit more against surrounding noises and a optional wrist band for (light) running would be nice. :)

In white, they are the most ridiculous looking things. Seen them in black and they look much better.

My wife and i are very happy with ours. It quickly syncs with any device (same iCloud Id) that you are using once you open the case. They sound pretty good and hold their charge for a long time.
I think if you only have the iPhone and then not sure if its worth it, but if you have the iPad and MacBook and all are on signed in on the same iCloud then definitely give them a try. It’s a very smooth and quick pairing with any of the iDevices. Worse comes to worse you can always return them.

I thought about getting them, but was afraid of losing one, expensive. Staying with Apple products got the BeatsX instead, really sound great and the fit is good.

Yeah I definitely agree with you, definitely will hurt if you lose one. I’m anal with my things and unless I had a bit too much to drink...... ,I usually know where everything that I use often and need is.

I love mine... Some of the best engineering Apple has done (other than the iPhone X) for some time...

I find statements like this funny, as they looks just like every other Apple EarPods and earbuds which have become iconic just no wires.

Has anyone here had bad luck in terms of fit with the EarPods only to find the AirPods fit better? The EarPods don’t mesh with my ears so I’ve been hesitant to try out the AirPods.

Love mine. I initially laughed at the price, but like with the Watch and now AirPods - can't imagine life without them. Used them all day at work today and yesterday - love how fast they charge. I've done a call on them, REALLY really enjoy them. People ask about them all the time - the #1 question I get consistently: "Do they fall out?" - So I swing my head as hard as I can and they go: "Wow... they stay in!"

I have used LG's bluetooth headsets before but the wires just kill me - the noise they make when rubbing on shirt/ear... I can't stand wires. Just amazing to be wire free. Haven't gone jogging with them yet, but plan to!

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MYBEYE8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -- Got that, and although it makes the case look uglier - it isn't getting scratched up like crazy.

Absolutely love these things. I wear them as often as I can. A+.
