Depends on the day, but usually I live all over.
so many un-confirmed rumors say iPhone Xs, iPhone R, iPhone Xs Max. I feel this whole story “Apple having trouble with naming” is bunk.
I personally feel the 5.8” and 6.5” OLED iPhones will be “iPhone Pro,”
Then the iPhone 6.1” will be the “iPhone 8s or 9.”

This whole Xs and Max stuff does not seem like an Apple-y thing to do IMO.

But yes, you are right in one respect. Headlines such as “Apple’s iPhone Name Dilemma” are a complete load of rubbish. Exactly the same as last year when the same publications would have you believe Apple were battling at the eleventh hour to get touchID under the screen before being forced to go with FaceID.

They’ve had at least a year, probably much longer, to decide on a name, along with every other detail, and it will have been locked down long ago.
 
It would be best if they just call the phone iPhone, regardless of size. They need to figure out the iPhone 9 an X and 10 though, along with the choice options they have now. It was somehow easier when their product lines were clear.

I don’t think Apple will associate ‘Plus’ with this 6.5 iPhone. To me, they are leaving that moniker behind with the 5.5 iPhone. Also, rumors are suggesting Apple will *not* use Plus also.
 
Can I hold out any hope that it will be called the iPhone Xs Pro?! LOL

Latest rumors are suggesting iPhone XS max. If that’s true Apple has totally lost it in naming their products. Also I can’t see why the 6,5 can’t be called plus. As long as it’s the bigger of the two it’s plus sized.

I agree the term ‘Max’ is ridiculous. I don’t believe Apple will label it That. Sometimes as we approach closer to the keynote like this, these ridiculous rumors surface last minute, which hopefully is not true.

Honestly the 6.1 is so pointless, why make a cheaper yet bigger version? Most people who comes from the pre x want something small. It’s like their only option will be a “plus” sized phone without fingerprint and those who comes from the plus will be pissed that it’s not as big as the 6.5.

Just have the x and x plus but call them “iPhone and iPhone plus” 2018 edition.
 
iPhone Maximus Prime, but it can be named anything and people will still buy it and Apple will be on their way to being a Quadrillion company.

No. Actually, the majority of the market wants bigger phones.

What about the regular x being renamed to plus and the “plus” becomes the max? i mean it’s way easier than having such a long confusing name. So,

iPhone max

There is no way Apple is going to label the iPhone Plus and Max in the same lineup, that would be completely confusing and almost conflating of each other. It would have to be one or the other, or neither of those terms.
 
iPhone XS max sounds like a Xbox gamer tag. Just add some more xxx and throw in a sniperhax somewhere and you’re all set.
