What do you use your Ipad for?

My imaginary iPad had provided me with very satisfying fantasies when i close my eyes, imagine the HUGE screen, with it's immediate ability to get turned on, its responsiveness. Ummm...I gotta go.

I will use it for comic book reading, watching movies on trips (not that I go on many), internet browsing, e-mail. Pretty much everything in the keynote. I wish I could use iWork but I'm not important enough at my job to give meetings, and I finished my Master's already. Oh well

I'll use it for gaming, checking facebook, these forums (has anyone noticed how horrible it is navigating these forums on an iPhone?) etc, etc.
Basically it will replace my laptop for a large portion of my web consuming.
If a feasible means of using photoshop comes out on it, forget about it, I'll never go back.

That's the very first thing I thought of when the iPad was announced "no more next page, next page, more, more (to view more of the single post), click back a million times etc etc when reading macrumors in bed/on sofa"
I admit thats pretty sad of me really.
Just want to add that it never ceases to amaze me how some people have this natural ability to be humorous on here, I don't make a reply with 'LOL' but my wife is forever asking what I'm laughing at..........I'm envious.
If I were to get one it would be for reading and browsing. I find that the e-ink readers do not have enough contrast for my eyes, and the eye strain from reading on one of them would be far worse than any problems caused by an lcd (provided the backlight can be turned down far enough for night reading). I used to have an iPhone and read books on it and the screen, although small, was incredibly crisp and clear for reading. I am hoping that the iPad's screen will be as crisp, but I have my doubts because of the comparatively low resolution. I am looking forward to seeing one when they are available.

I plan on getting one just to use as a touch panel to control my Crestron home control system. Its less than half the price of other options for panels that size and has way better battery life. I'm sure I'll use it to surf the web or check email occasionally but mainly just as a remote for my AV system and lights in my house. How good it will look sitting on my end table instead of my current touch panel doesn't hurt either.
My buddy at my college who work at AT&T fail to announce to me that the ipad is not available to the public...
