It will never happen but update the Mac Pro, preferably to something that resembles the old "Cheesegrater" design. Make it easily upgradeable. I would be happy enough with that but obviously expecting a computer from Apple that isn't glued together is a bit futile.

Bring back the headphone jack or move to USB C on the iPhone and stop offering up proprietary solutions for Audio.

You want them to prioritize function over form? Place the horse before the cart?!:eek: Blasphemy!:p It is the height of hubris to tell Apple what we want. Apple knows what we want before we want it.o_O:p:D:D

They never realy lost me as a customer. Apple hardware and software has been good to me since I left Windows years ago. They still make some great products.

That being said I think there are areas in which they could improve.

- Jobs was never one to update Macs super fast but Cook has taken it to a new level with the desktops. Get back to a semi regular update schedule.

- Bring back the $1000 (or somewhere around that mark) notebook with regular updates. It looks like the current Air is still occupying that spot but I doubt it gets updated. Would be nice to have an updated notebook around that price point.

- Make the iPad Pro a real pro iPad by giving it a version of iOS that is more capable and takes better advantage of the screen size. Perhaps it could become the new $1000 notebook and the device Cook was talking about.

- The next time Apple collaborates with LG on a monitor they should perhaps give them some design tips.

- Go back to the previous MBP price points.

"Design" includes "style", but "design" also includes how well it is engineered and what the quality is.

People complaining about the LG monitor aren't complaining about how well it is engineered - they're focused on the "style", how it looks next to one of Dieter Ram's ^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H Jony Ive's anorexic systems.

Of course most people are complaining about the way it looks considering most do not own the display to make any comment on build quality.

This was a collaboration with Apple. The same Apple that places great emphasis on the way their products look.

I agree.. there is no longer a "budget" notebook anymore. only a budget desktop (the Mac mini) at (U.S) $499, then u zoom straight up to (U.S) $999 for the 13-inch MBA .. The refurbished store is probably a fill in for that more and more.

- More services on iCloud (Apple Music, Maps, etc)
- Improved maps (especially public transport, I live in Europe and is severly lacking)
- Chose a goddamn solution for charging all our Apple/Beats devices (considering Beats, there are now 4 different standards: lightning, Inductive charging, USB-C, Micro USB), and I personally vote for USB-C.
- iOS tailored for iPad Pro experience (especially 12.9")
- Improve AirPlay... I personally wish a Chromecast-like device from Apple. I've tried Chromecast and I have to admit, it's awesome for videos. For music is even better with multi-speaker casting.
- Show some love to the Mac. Simple, powerful and reliable computers.

Cheese Grater Mac Pro. :D
Actually, ask for a completely redesigned box that looks like the cheese grater from the outside.

The cheese grater was designed around cooling the nuclear fires called the PowerPC 970.

The Z-series and Precision workstations of similar physical size support more RAM, more disks, more PCIe slots, more networking, more power, more....

Gut the inside, and make it more useful. The PPC 970 is no longer a design constraint.

I am good with that. I just want something that is not an "appliance" that I can upgrade and add on to. Me personally, I love the cheese grater box. Love the heft, size, functionality, and the over all look is very pleasing to me. I would be happy with new innards and the same outside look.

Reduce the price. I hate to sound cheap, but can someone explain why the old, unchanged MacBooks, went up in price? Every other manufacturer sells their older stuff cheaper.

I'm actually on their side about donglegate - imagine a future where you have one port and one cable to connect everything. USB A was almost there, it's pretty much only power and monitors that use another standard. I can't afford a new Mac, so you might think it wouldn't affect me, but even so I had to buy a dongle for my old HP, to connect its HDMI port to a VGA projector. One day a USB C cable will be able to do the job. Although, the projectors will probably still have VGA...

Do something with the Apple TV. It's pretty much just for airplay, and that could be done with something the size of a stick of gum, or if they supported DNLA, it's already built into nearly every TV.

Any place but here or there....
After I politely emailed Tim Cook about how disappointed I've been with rotten store service and battery life last week with my iPhones since this September, he had the engineers turn off my usage and standby time on my iPhone 6s+. Merry Christmas! Tomorrow, I will request full refund for the 6s+ to my Visa and jump ship. Am seriously considering unloading this iMac as well.

So, no, there is absolutely nothing Apple can do to win me back now.

Suprisingly, someone at Apple punted my email to the local Apple store where I had all the activation / phone issues last month. Said store are willing to give me a discount and/or gift card to come back and it's because of actions like this, I have stuck with Apple despite the increasingly sour grapes over the past three years.

I am willing to give them another shot, though remain cautious. I cannot stand Android and while I think I'll eventually be okay with migrating to a PC, now isn't the time when I have an iMac that runs quite well.

What I want them for them to do is get off their high horses and take a leaf from this store leader insofar as customer relations and product. Do all you can to deliver products that are worthy of the hype, listen to your customers and treat them well. If they'd slow down and perhaps open up the public about upcoming releases (don't have to say the specs, just say what is coming this year), perhaps then I would simply enjoy their products and leave it at that.

UPDATE: so much for that. My iPad Mini 4 wouldn't sync with my iMac or iTunes on its own so whatever Apple did when they disabled the usage and standby time in the now returned 6s+ they also cut off my iTunes account from syncing and working with new Apple hardware.
