Why so many duplicate widgets?

DJ, you seem to have a lot of widgets doing the same thing (5 battery monitors, 3 network monitors, 3 memory monitors, 3 fan monitors etc.). Do they all do slightly different things? If not, why have them all? Not criticizing, just curious....
