My original Mac Pro 5,1 that I got new in 2010.

The original 27" LED Cinema Display is put away and a Dell 4K is in place. It's not a great screen but it does the job for now.

The computer was a quad-core 3.2ghz with Radeon 5870 1GB graphics card and 1TB HDD, along with a modest 8GB ram. It's now a dual X5690 3.46ghz, 96GB RAM and has a RX580 and SSD storage and runs Monterey. It also has modern bluetooth and WIFI so it can share mouse and keyboard with my 7,1 Mac Pro, also has air-drop and other convenience features.

It is absolutely pristine, the case has not a single mark on it anywhere.

In case someone asks, the scale model on top of it is an Airbus A380F - never built:

Lovely setup @avro77! Do you have a link to your Mistral wallpaper?

Go here for the initial photos:

Open the images in a new browser tab and remove the w=1784&h=1004 from the URL to get higher resolution.

And the W16 Mistral in Japan, also a beautiful set of photos:

That Mistral is art, like the 7,1 Mac Pro is. If I had the money I'd have a black W16 Mistral. Heck I'd live in it if I had to.

Thanks for sharing everyone. I am inspired to up my game in my home office in 2024. Right now my space looks like a combination of warehouse, rummage sale and spaghetti factory.
