Any place but here or there....
eBay's global postage fees, price gouging sellers and the fact that both eBay and paypal take cuts from you if you're a seller (I understand this, I just do not like it.) I haven't bought tech from them, still too skittish about putting that much $ out for someone I don't know.

I was gouged a lot on postage fees, so I stopped selling. I'd rather use half.com to unload any dvds / books I don't want now.

That said, I've had some terrific experiences as a buyer lately (import dvds.)

10 % fee on final value plus 2.5 % for paypal plus they ask you to pay for shipping plus a 3 to 7 day waiting period on the money on your paypal account

eBay
sell iPhone for 600
pay fees of 75
ship box at $10
wait 5 or 7 days
receive $515

swappa
sell iPhone for 600
pay fees of $10
pay paypal fee $15
ship box at $10
get paid the same day
receive 565

i sold my iPhone on swappa. the paypal fee was 3.9 %

I cannot figure the inane website design. It's crazy and makes no sense. It takes a billion clicks to get anywhere. And selling stuff on there is not worth the risk with that dumb 'they buyer is always right' mentality. May as well just give the damn thing you want to sell away and you'd probably have a painless experience.

yes.. like buying from eBay,,, I just don't like 'selling' on ebay because of fees involved.

I dunno about eBay, but i know Paypal is on the side of the customer as i've always got refunds...... even though they try and state otherwise..
