You're not alone! Finished the game last night. Must say I didn't see it coming till right at the end. ;-) Going to start Beyond two souls now, but my girlfriend who was very intrigued with heavy rain and followed me playing it, wants to join in and play together.

That's one I started but never finished. It wasn't bad. I just got distracted by other games that came out.

Downloaded it, but decided not to play the demo, removed it. Just going to play the full game :)

I haven't even played RE2 remake yet. I have heard many good things, but some people seem to find that the whole "Mr. X" thing gets pretty annoying and kind of kills the mood. Probably still worth a playthrough?

Heavy Rain way pretty cool! Kind of cheesy and involuntarily funny at times, but it was a fun ride for me and my wife.

Haven't tried the Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human yet. I'd probably like them both, but my backlog is ridiculous as it is.

I bought RE2 in discount a while back, it's added to the backlog ;-) I'm trying to work away some older games, hence Heavy Rain and stuff. The Witcher 3 is on the menu this summer, after I finished TLoU2.

Played a couple of hours of Beyond Two Souls with my girlfriend and I'm enjoying the story so far. Like the fact I'm gaming with my girl, but annoyed so much when she hits wrong buttons ;-)

I enjoyed Heavy Rain but couldn't get into Beyond. While a 'better' game from a technical perspective, it didn't grab me as much.

I was the same way. I don't know if it was the desire to know who the Jigsaw killer was or some crazy choices I made that I wanted to see the outcome of. I blasted through HR but wasn't motivated to finish Beyond.

I just realized that I never finished the main quest of Spider Man so I'm going back to that. Going to be painful at first because I've forgotten all of the combos.

Four days until Resident Evil 3: Nemisis is here. I really enjoyeD RE:2, Capcom did a great job, the third installment should be just as good, if not better.

Finished Beyond Two Souls and I really loved the story. It was completely different from Heavy Rain and I was more "connected" to Heavy Rain, but didn't regret playing B2S at all. next up: Detroit become Human, and then FF7R.

So the initial reviews are not very good on RE:3, but; it’s because some are saying it doesn’t compare to the original Resident Evil 3 from the early PlayStation days, as Capcom allegedly removed a bunch of sequences/gameplay specifics. However, in terms of actual enjoyment and playing the game with the revamped engine, it looks amazing.

Read that RE3 is only worth 5-6 hours of gameplay. That means I'll be buying it during the summer sales when it's below $20.

RE2 is 20 bucks right now as part of the Spring Sale. Will probably pick it up!

RE:2 is a killer game. [Pun intended😁]. Really, I enjoyed it. The puzzles can be a bit frustrating at times, but the unique layout of the Raccoon city Police Department is really fun to navigate through. Capcom did a great job with Character modeling, voice acting and overall the storyline is intriguing enough to keep you going with some decent plot twists. Enjoy.

Did you feel like the Mr. X thing kind of took away from the atmosphereand added a rush factor the game didn't need? I've read that a few times now...

He doesn’t appear until later in the game (Like the second half), and you can navigate around when he starts to follow you. I personally liked when he would follow you, it kind of keeps you ‘looking over your shoulder’ and yet, you’re trying to advance in the game. It does add a bit of difficulty, but it probably depends on if you’re what level of difficulty you’re playing on, as he can move at different speeds.

Altogether, I don’t feel that his character hindered me in anyway in terms of enjoying the game, but it definitely added a ‘stress level’ when he is introduced (Which I found to be a good thing), but by that time, you should have a good idea how to navigate the police department.

Tip:

Don’t waste/use any ammunition on him, as it’s scarce as it is, and you will need it for other gameplay elements.

Bought a PS4 Pro last month to play during the coronavirus lockdown - played FIFA on and off during university, but not much else, have only ever really owned a PSP and PS Vita. Any must-play games? I never got into Fortnite, but am playing the free battle royale Call of Duty with friends and it's quite fun. FIFA 20 came with the console but it's more frustrating than anything else...

I enjoyed Uncharted on the Vita so might give that a go now UC4 is free for this month's PS+ games.

If you enjoyed "Uncharted Light" on the Vita, you will enjoy the real games even more. All four are available on PS4.

There are many other "must-play" games across many genres, we'll need a little more info on your preferences and favorite genres to make meaningful recommendations.

I like games that I can dip in and out of without a massive story arc I never finish - in terms of genre, I'm not too picky and would like to try a range, though not a massive fan of RPGs. Quite enjoyed the few games of Star Wars Battlefront I played, was going to look into Jedi Fallen Order, although I understand they're quite different games.

Hilarious. I’m pretty sure Capcom is trolling here, currently playing RE:3 as Jill Valentine, and in the midst of a level, there’s a random pack of toilet paper on the counter. (And if anyone’s following the pandemic, you can’t find toilet paper anywhere in some areas). Just thought this was uncanny in this apocalyptic world in a game setting where toilet paper is easily found versus how it is in the ‘real world’. 😁
