I went with 256. Was going to get 64gb but I felt weird spending over 1k on something with only 64gb
I like to have a lot of movies, tv shows, and music downloaded to my iPad when I travel. So 256gb was the way to go.
128gb base model would have been perfect
Agree, but I bet that is the bump the iPP will get next spring.
Spring?
For the extra $150 this new iPP 11 should have been 128gb base. 64GB is a slap in the face for a Pro model.
I guess you missed the "Agree" part.Spring?

Snap..... I too have the 2015 128gb 12.9” which has 30gb free. So, the new 12.9 wifi only will be the 256gb model which will give me around 150gb to add new content as and when.I have the 2015 iPad Pro 12.9 128gb. I'm giving my 10.5 inch 64gb pro to my wife. Currently I'm using under 40gb. With iCloud storage and lightning or usb c devices. I always have enough storage. If I travel out of town. I download movies using iTunes or a third party app. Then take them off or out when I return home. I would of loved to get the 128gb. But Apple chose a more profitable storage line up for Apple. Not for the customer. I'm just glad they don't do 16gb and 32gb any more that was awful.
I use to pack my 12.9 128gb storage close to 100gb. But when I enabled iCloud storage to delete apps I’m not using and songs I don’t listen to frequently. My storage use dropped dramatically. I also notice at had double copies of photos from switching from iPhoto to the new photo app. I only load a bunch of movies when I’m going out of town.Snap.....
