Stocks are falling on all companies.

Because stocks truly represents how a company is doing in the publics eye

People are in the stock market to make a quick buck, its just a game. The stocks are not a good representation of companies images because not everyone who supports the company and its decisions are in the stock market, and there are many other factors that affect stock market prices: national and international politics, laws, trade deals, etc.

You cant justify that their new products suck solely because their stock prices are down.

Yeah a screen shot of one day change in stock price means anything.

Me personally as many other people are very disappointed of current Apple products, which probably shows Apple's death. Lion, Mountain Lion, iOS 6, iOS 7, Mac Pro 2013, iMac 2012, MBPr 2012, and Mac Mini 2012. iTunes 11, Lightning connector, and more. I hate all the new design, iMac's feature removal, MBPr's price for nothing, Mac Mini's "inferiorification" and Mac Pro's lack of expandability. All the new software also. I don't know but I see signs of Apple's death. I also think that many other companies forgot what they have to do. Microsoft is failing with Surface, Windows 8 and stuff they uselessly bought for billions like Skype. Google is failing with Android and their stupid Youtube updates.

What happened to Apple?
What happened to all the others companies?

Sure none of the companies are perfect. But in this case i don't think they're the problem...YOU are. More specifically your unreasonable and unrealistic expectations.

The market votes and publicly held companies respond. They have built what people want to buy and in doing so have become one of the largest companies in the world.

In 2003 their total market cap was less than $1B and they were a maker of very niche products but with a loyal following.

Now they are no longer niche and you will simply not please all of the people all of the time.

Should the market changes, tastes change and people slow in their buying habits they will react, pivot etc. Thus turns big business.

Canada is my city
-What was wrong with Mountain Lion? Nothing big, but I appreciate the update, I cant wait for Mavericks!
-iOS6 was like iOS5, why does this disappoint you?
-iOS7 seemed like the wrong direction for me, its not my style, but the general populous seems to like it, so they must be doing something right with it.
-I am really loving the design of the mac pro, very minimalistic. I just wish I could afford it.
-I dont see a big deal here nor there with the thinner iMac, the 2011 one was never really "in the way." While the design is impressive, I do agree its nothing really practical for a dektop.
-LOVE LOVE LOVE my rMBP, ITS SO THIN AND POWERFUL!!!! I cant believe such a computer exists!
-Mac mini 2012, is the same as the 2011. Nothing revolutionary, but they need to announce internal upgrades. Cant expect old hardware to survive forever.

Lightning cable > 30 pin connector anyday. That **** was annoying.
iTunes 11, meh

But not everything apple announces at events has to be revolutionary, it doesnt have to WOW you, thats not the goal. The goal is to introduce/inform the populous about the changes to their product lines. iTunes 11 has improvements, but you can keep iTunes 10 if you like.

Their company doesnt revolve around you and the designs you like. They strive to be unique, if they go unchallenged, then why change it? To be fair, a lot of people dont use DVD/CD's anymore, and if you do, there are solutions. While I agree the price of the rMBPs are high, the profit margins are no higher than any apple products. Those screens are expensive to produce. Mac mini has been what its always been, why is it suddenly inferior now? And I never looked toward Apple for expand-ability, Ive always just seen them as a great quality company with very great quality products.

You might be a little like me, hating change for the sake of change. While you think they are going in the wrong direction, many others do not. I think the rMBPs are great lines, and I like the iMac and Mac Pro design, its very minimalistic. You may be happier going to a PC with windows 7 and not having to "deal" with all the "bad decisions" Apple is making :]

First, I always dislike a product that Apple releases, then start liking it, then starting re-disliking it. I'm in the third step. I can't do anything other than complaining. So that's why I started this thread.
Second, yes there are some improvements in the new Apple products, but I'm still in the old and I need some of the older features that are removed in newer Macs.
Third, NEVER propose me using a PC and oh god not Windows. For me, using Windows is like talking to a psycho, he can always get mad and kill me with his knife just like Windows gets me the BSOD on me.

OP may need to just build his own computer from now on.

You gotta remember how apple also was the first to remove the floppy disk drive, they saw it as tech that would soon be obsolete and they were right. Currently CD's and DVD's are in the same boat. No one really buys software, music, movies, or anything in disks. Why would I? I can download pretty much anything faster than it takes me to get to a store and buy it. I don't even remember the last time is used the disk drive on my imac was. Like it or not technology advances.

The vast majority of the population (the same people who keep apple profiting) like the their computers slimmer, light, and good looking. It does suck that I can't upgrade the RAM or hard drive of the new computers.

Build a hackintosh and you can put in whatever old tech you want. FW, ethernet, modem, USB 2. But just remember, all of that is already on the way out. Thunderbolt is just way faster and more convenient for transferring the huge amounts of data that we all have.

Edit: no one is trying to offend you but it does sound like you're trolling.

I'm seeing Apple go the way of BlackBerry and Nokia if:

1. they do not add a bigger screen to iPhone, at least as an option.
2. they do not fix iOS 7 user interface.
3. they do not open up a little. Google is way better in terms of data management online, maps and so on. You need the ability to set default apps.
4. they do not stop making that fragile hardware with many errors as iPhone 5.
5. they do not innovate faster. All the above should have been there one year ago at least.
