I apologize is this is a duplicate but I couldn't find it in search. The rumors last year indicated the iPhone 11 was mechanically capable of reverse wireless charging but it was turned off in software. I didn't see any mention of this feature yesterday for the iPhone 12s, did they scrap this feature entirely or did I miss the mention of inclusion?

There was nothing mentioned by Apple this year. Given the battery situation, that could be a factor. Based on patent submissions, it seems Apple is definitely interested in this feature however.

I don't know if anyone have this issue, but I set the default browser to Firefox, and every time the firefox app have an update, it revert back to Safari as the default app. Its very annoying and I'm wondering if I'm alone with this situation. Device updated to 14.0.1

The small battery of 12 series is difficult to power the phone itself, how can it support reverse charging?

Funnily enough reverse wireless charging was built into the iPhone 11 but Apple abandoned it and blocked it via software. Doesn’t seem like they want to resurrect the idea.

This was one feature that's been rumored forever including last year. I was really looking forward to. Has anyone else heard anything about this feature?

Is that even efficient? Do we have any numbers as far as how long it takes to charge the device using reverse?

They didn’t add 120hz refresh rate cause of battery drain too much so revers charging wasn’t happening. Plus it really doesn’t work that well. It goes at its slowest speed and is not practical. Will barely be used.
