I have had Cox cable service ever since I hit the Sunshine State, but I had Yahoo/SBC DSL before that. I found both services excellent. :) Originally the bundling issue upset me... In Detroit I had a landline phone just to get DSL. But now I have a DVR and cable is well worth it. ;)

Are you thinking about getting both Fios TV and internet? It seems nice, albeit somewhat pricey compared to what I have now for cable tv / internet...

Another Comcast user here...I've been very happy with the internet sertvice, but my second one-year promotional deal just ran out and they're wanting to charge me $128/month for internet and digital cable (with Silver package and DVR). I'll have to see what they can do for me or I may be exploring alternatives.

Still here.
I'm currently getting ripped the **** off by Comcast.

The service is excellent - customer service, technician services, and the internet service itself - it's just that I'm not made of money...

Adelphia HSI. But didn't Comcast just buy them? No?

Comcast and Time Warner each bought pieces of Adelphia. (They swapped a few markets as well.)

$128 per month! Wow!

Here I can get a great cable package and Internet for about $75 per month. Internet only is about $50 for VDSL (100Mbps).

Instead I opted for regular Internet for about $25 per month (45Mbps ADSL).

I've got SBC DSL... its fast enough and doesn't cost me too much each month :) Used to have AOL and it really sucked!

Bellsouth here. Unfortunately it's more expensive than I'd like because we had to pay for a phone line as well (that we NEVER use.. we both have cells), but they're the only company that offers highspeed internet in this area.

BellSouth DSL in use here. I've got the "FastAccess DSL Xtreme" package for $37.95, which is 3 Mbps down/384 Kbps up.

BellSouth could be better but they have once automatically lowered the price and they did call me to upgrade me after prices fell $10.00 per month.

I have earthlink.net cable basic. I love it and it appears to be very snappy comparing to my parent's cox high speed premier.

for the first 6 months im mapying $29.95 then after that its like 45.95 i think.

Verizon DSL - 768/128 - 14.95/month

Great for browsing.

Same here. Downloads and uploads are kind of slow, but it's better than dial up. I'm thinking about upgrading to the 3 Mbps/768 Kbps plan, since it's only $30.

Cable at 1.5mbs but most times it runs slower since most of the sites I view are foreign.
