What is everyone going to do on Friday night to kill the time until Saturday?

Nobody has suggested downloading every single free iPad application on the iStore?

(Can I call it the iStore? Is that an abomination in the same form as the "iTouch"?)
 
I'll be shooting a UF baseball game first Friday night, then I'm going with a bunch of friends from work to see a local veteran drag queen perform her final show at Gainesville's only gay bar.
This is, interestingly enough, not a joke.

I personally plan on being more than a little buzzed at the end of the night, then get to bed shortly after 2:30 and be up bright and early for the iPad/spring football practice. Ideal arrival time would be before 10 or after 12:20, so I can either get it before I have to go take pictures at football practice or between practice and a baseball game.
 
Church lol, at least I will be able to stay up with anticipation of iPad dancing in my head. I will sleep fine though... its the next night I won't be able to sleep.

I got class till 6:30 tonight...then I'm gonna watch the rest of the 2nd season of The Big Bang Theory, then go to sleep, wake up at 4:30, and go to the Apple Store and let the festivities begin. :apple:
 
You could do what I would do when I was a youngster waiting for Christmas, get under your bed and fall asleep ;).

Probably not an option anymore so I think I'll go the "watch a bunch of movies" route. Having a Netflix streaming to my PS3 will come in handy for that.

Its a hard life right now! But I deserve it. This last week was hell week at school for all of us prospective graphic designers and illustrators. We had our candidacy review to get into the program which required preparing large portfolios. Today I received word that I was accepted into the program!

Ahh I wish I would have brought my wii home with me. All I have is my xbox ME 2 and NHL 10. I am sure I can think of something to do, I do have a test to study for and a programming assignment to do. Though I have no C skills at all.
 
I'm working till 10pm tonight, get home, check Macrumors for awhile, then get a few hours sleep, and out to the mall about an hour or so before the Apple Store opens - perfect :)

i will be hanging out with my brother and his friends playing apples to apples. yes...i know. loser. my only other option is to watch time slowing tick by waiting to 9am tomorrow. that doesnt sound appealing.
 
i bought a house last week, so I am going to be painting tonight, then waiting for the ipad tomorrow, then back to painting..yay...

As a Gainesville citizen, I didn't even know Lady Pearl was "retiring!" Never got to see him/her! Are you going to BB? And what do you think the turnout will be like?

What's your current workflow and how much manual correction are you doing? A lot of tech books I bought came with pdf versions I'd like to migrate over, but if they get all garbled there's not much point (as I need to use the index in many cases)

Ooooo.. the above poster pointed out it was Good Friday too - that means I have to be extra deviant.. alcohol, smoking, sex, and blasphemy will pass my time.
