Was that an isolated incident? It doesn't really say does it? Could it of been a packing error or are there numerous reports that they are all coming out like this?

I'm constantly checking this forum cause i'm so bored at work.

Right now it is the only report I've heard of. Could have been a packaging error.
 
I would wait - DONT BUY A MACBOOK.

I bought two macbook recently and both of them have been randomly shutting down. I am very disappointed. Apple won't replace or reimbourse me. I understand from this thread that I am not the only one dealing with this problem.
How many are we ?
If you have this problem with your macbook, can you please send me an email at macbookproblem@mac.com with the complete serial number of your computer, model , date of purchase and outcome.
I plan on publishing weekly stats about number of computer affected and contact apple with the information.

any suggestions welcome.

Why exactly won't Apple replace them? If they are truely broken and you are either in your 1yr initial warranty.. or 3yr Apple Care and the system is really broken... Apple will fix it.... me thinkest something fishy is going on here.:confused:
