I've never seen the necessity for spotlight search, or the hype. If I want to dial a contact I go to the phone app. If I want to look up an old email I use the search facility in the mail app. What am I missing by not using spotlight?

It's faster to swipe to the left screen and use search vs finding the app, opening and searching.

Here is a nice instruction how to save files to iCloud Drive from the Mail app. You can also use this feature with other Apple or 3rd party apps (like e.g. Documents 5).
Thank you very much! I'm beginning to feel more comfortable with iCloud Drive. :)

Double Tap Home Button to Drop Screen
If you tap your Home button twice (not a click, more of a touch) while the phone is unlocked, it will 'pull' the screen halfway down so you can easily access items at the top of the screen with one hand.

I wish I had known about this feature before buying my 6s, as I might have gone for a 6s+ instead.

FYI, this was there on 8 with the release of the 6+.

Really?

I'm even more annoyed now(!) My previous phone was my 'Android Phase', I didn't enjoy it and when speaking to the guy in the Apple store I mentioned that I liked additional screen res and battery on the + but was worried about using it one handed having struggled with my Z3. He then talked me into the 6, never mentioning this feature.

Yes. I got the 6+ on opening day last year. That was there from 8.0 (for the 6+ only). I use it all the time when I only have access to one hand.

It's called Reachability and its there for iPhone 6 (also since its release with iOS 8).
