I am shocked that big red was on there! It is my all time fav, but alas, I cannot have it anymore.
I prefer to eat those calories instead of drink them. Do you know how much salad I get for one bottle of big red?!

I really liked Cherry Coke (when it was still available), but other than that my favourite would have to be Chinotto (not really fussed which brand).

I used to drink coke for 28 years then I found out I was having some health problems so I had to give it up. I thought I was going to die. (giving up coke not for real) So I went a couple of months drinking lots of water and then I finally broke down and tried diet coke. I actually enjoy it now. So I now have a diet coke drinking problem. :)

I voted for Dr. Pepper.

But my favorite was Mr. Pibb (regular). Haven't seen one of them in quite a while -- only when I visit the states.
'

All they have now is PIBB EXTRA...

I love the way diet coke tastes in the UK. For some reason the yucky sweeteners just dissapear! But for now I'm suck with water.

I used to love vanilla cokes, both diet and ordinary, but you never see them any more. I haven't liked any of the zero versions of the coke drinks that I have tried yet. Dr.Pepper Zero I think was the most disgusting.

The one UK version soft drink that I absolutely adore, and drink WAY WAY too much of is Diet Cherry Coke, has to be diet, not ordinary. There is something in it that just does it for me. If that isn't available then It would have to be Cherry or ordinary coke, but the ones imported from eastern europe, not the UK ones. They have a different mixture I suspect because the non UK ones just use ordinary sugar, and the UK ones use destrose or some sugar-deriative chemical... or maybe its the other way round?? What I do know is the good coke is the one with arabic writing on it. and the good cherry coke is easy to spot because it has a black lid. They also say 0,5L instead of 500ml. Find them in your local corner shop, or when you are in central london Benjys!

Cola (Coke and Pepsi) is disgusting. They both taste like metal. I only have three kinds of sodas now:

Dr. Pepper/Mr. Pibb
Root Beer
Sprite/Sierra Mist

EDIT: And orange soda. Mmmmmmm.

What the hell, no Mountain Dew on the list? You don't even have 7up either.

MD for me. Also the Pitch Black and Livewire variants, which some people are probably disgusted by. :) Of the ones in the poll though, I'd have to pick Dr Pepper.

All of the "Diet" and "Zero" sodas (i.e. the ones with Splenda and stuff) are ****'n nasty.

Do you know where to get CC Lemon in the U.S.? I haven't had it since I lived in Japan. Boy was that stuff good. I wish we had all the Japanese Fanta flavors too.

Interesting. The closest I've gotten to any such soda is at the Korean grocery stores. Even then, Chilsung Cider is the closest to any Japanese soda but they usually have Calpico soda, if you like that. Lots of places ramune for some reason, but people buy it for the marble, not the taste.

If it's the U.S., I'll take Mountain Dew or Mello Yello first. Coke used to be a choice for me but whatever it has, and it has less caffeine than Mountain Dew, it keeps me awake as bad as coffee. Fanta is okay for a sugary sweet drink to kerb some bitter or salty taste.

Very occasionally, GUS (Grown Up Soda) Extra Dry Ginger Ale.

I'd love to get my hands on some similarly well made tonic water, but that's pretty tough in the states.

I guess I don't drink soda all that much, but boring as it might be, I know what I like.

Ok, all you mountain dew lovers.

Mountain Dew didnt come to my mind. (well, at the end it did. but i figured Sprite was basically the same thing.)

Now that I've said that, let the flaming begin:D
