I have 3 MM's. Two wireless and a wired one.

90% of the time, I use some old logitech wired laser one I have lying around.

Why?

The scroll works all the time, not 80% of the time.

It right clicks when I want it to, all of my MM's will only right click about 1 out of 3 presses.

Sorry to say I use a Logitech wireless MX620 laser mouse along with Logitech Control Center. I really wanted the Bluetooth MM to work because I like the feel of the MM and it wouldn't use up any of my USB ports. Alas, the tracking suddenly and strangely stopped working and none of the suggested fixes worked. So, add me to the list of Logitech users.

Currently using Logitech MX518 but on OSX I prefer the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorers, mainly because MS's drivers correct the awful mouse acceleration OSX has. For Logitech you have to buy Steermouse or USB Overdrive for that.

Thanks for all the post's....

I have a wired one and yea the scroll sucks! I do clean it but it sucks i have to do it!

Just a correction. I have a Logitech mouse and I use Logitech Control Center for Mac. Works great! Don't need SteerMouse or USB Overdrive.

Unless Logitech has changed something recently, their own drivers don't fix the mouse acceleration problem. It's easy to check. If when moving the mouse slowly it moves like it's stuck in mud and moving faster flies around the screen, you've got the mouse acceleration problem. Just installing SteerMouse and playing with its settings a bit will show how much better it could be. See http://db.tidbits.com/article/8893 for more info. I'd like to add that the higher the screen resolution the more noticeable the problem.

Apple makes the crappiest mice I've ever used. They're made for small hands, and the bottom part feels like you're dragging sand paper against concrete. Good thing there are alternatives from such companies as Logitech.

Their latest keyboards are ok, though I prefer ergonomic style.

"yes, it does need to be cleaned once in a while"

If the reason the OP (or someone else reading this thread) doesn't like the MM because of a scrollball problem, pointing out it needs to be cleaned periodically is a helpful comment. There are more than a couple of threads started because of that very problem. :)

I thought the OP was asking for opinions on mice other than the Might Mouse. Maybe it was just me.

So I have the Might Mouse and I think the thing SUCKS! So I am looking to buy a better kind of mouse, but I can't deiced what one. So what do you guys/girls use?

All I was getting at was that people saying that they love the Might Mouse isn't helping at all.

Latest version of LCC works perfectly.

I have a few of the Logitech MX 1000 (the original laser mouse) and I love them. The MX Revolution is nice as well, but it seems OS X doesn't have good driver support for it just yet. But I'll take my MX1000 to my grave, its that good.

I use my Logitech VX Nano on both HP business notebook and iMac. I make do without on alu macbook :p

Have to say Logitech Control Centre is slightly more intuitive to use on OSX to set shortcuts. I don''t know why they do not make both versions the same...

Mighty Mouse unusable in comparison. I miss the scroll wheel. The shortcut buttons. Mighty Mouse not very well designed. Its shortcut button in an awkward place where you need to adjust to use it and touch sensitve button goes against natural instinct as we are all used to feedback since the days of balls and mice

Am picking up the big brother MX tomorrow as well :)
