I'm assuming that the colors are Cherry MX key colors.

Blue is clicky.
Brown is tactile and non-clicky
Red is non-clicky linear
Green is like Blue but requires more activation pressure and there's more acoustic feedback
I’m not sure you actually intended to reply to me but my original remark was wondering why a question about mechanical keyboards would be limited to use with a Mac Studio vs. any other computer model. It’s not as if the Mac Studio makes a keyboard perform any differently.

Someone asked why colors would matter. I must have hit reply on the wrong post.

I did wonder why the thread title asks what mechanical keyboard one is planning on using and then the poll options are just colours and not actual makes or models of keyboards. It assumes everyone is going to buy the same make, just a different colour.

It's a flawed poll.

I use my Keychron K2 with my M1 MBA when it is "docked" on my desktop. And there are certainly MANY MANY more kinds of switches than the three in the poll. I have Gateron browns, but I'm going to swap them for Holy Pandas or Glorious Pandas at some point (not sure which - I've heard Drop have QC issues with the Holy Pandas, and the Glorious Pandas can be ordered pre-lubed, which suits me).

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm wondering if you ever bought the Glorious Pandas? I'm thinking about buying a set and I'm wondering what you thought of them if you pulled the trigger...?

It's just occurred to me that keyboard switches are about as personal, and as hard to personally "audition", as motorcycle seats.
Would be cool to have semi-annual "meets", where you could try a hall full of different keyboards/switches, and buy a new set on the spot.

I picked up the new Logitech MX Mechanical mini (low profile, tactile) and MX master 3s to use between 3 windows/Mac devices. I ordered a third Logitech Bolt receiver and use the flow software to share between the three. I’ve been really happy with them so far.

I have completely given up on Logitech after far too many failures right after the warranty period ended.

No, I haven't yet. I'll post when I do!
