Ok 1). Keep the xs max
2). Bought but returned the 12 pro max
3). Briefly considered the 12
4). Settled on mini (most comfortable)

I upgraded from an iPhone XR. Wanted a better camera on the phone. I’m all in with Apple devices so didn’t consider Android.

I only really considered the 12 Pro and Pro Max. The Max appealed to me for the better camera but I was convinced that the size would annoy me when out and about. I like the phone to actually fit in my front jeans pocket. So I picked the 12 Pro amd am delighted with it. I’d probably have picked the Mini if they did a Pro version with the camera goodness.

Dodged a bullet there and saved yourself a lot of headaches and money.

Every time I ask someone what made you come back to iOS, it's always the same answer, android isn't as polished as iOS and nowhere near as efficient.

Had my 8 plus as my daily driver since April 2018 and loved it. Planned to keep on using it until the iphone 12 series as there were rumours the iphone 12s would have touch id and iphone 4 design.

Anyway March 2020 comes with Covid and the lockdown. The SE was released, so i decided to get one so that i could use the familiar classic design with touch id with A13 chip. I was also intrigued by the more compact size, as although i loved my 8+, it was like a brick and unwieldy to use and carry. Anyway fell in love with the SE and its size, and then got the 12 mini on Day 1 as it was so intriguing (even more compact with all premium features from larger models).

Nope, only considered the standard 12. Mini was too small, pro max too big, and 12 pro came in worse colours and has that scary/ugly camera lens setup

Reactions: LFC2020
In May 2020 I was deciding between the Iphone 11 and the SE2020. I thought I would love the gestures and wanted the latest and greatest design. If I had to do it all over again I would have gotten the SE2020. I'm just not a fan of the gesture system and it definitely feels like a downgrade compared to the home button.

Needless to say I will probably get a new phone next year and I'm strongly hoping Apple releases an Iphone SE Plus with a home button as that would without a doubt be my top choice.
