Let's pretend they stopped making the iPhone, and you had to give yours up. There is no possible way to own an iPhone anymore.

What phone would you turn to?

The reason I'm asking is because as much I loved my iPhone, I feel like I needed a change so I switched to the BlackBerry Storm 2. It's ok, but I don't like the web browser. And I kind of prefer to have a phone separate from my iPod. I will go and buy an iPod Touch, but I just need some recommendations on a phone that you would consider a nice alternative to the iPhone.

The main thing I liked about the iPhone was the web browser. The most important features to me on a phone are texting, e-mail, and the web browser.

I had a Pre and just didn't like it overall. If I did not have an iPhone, then I would still be with Sprint and thus have a Touch Pro 2 right now and would be looking at the Hero.

I'm heavily looking into the Droid. I wish Verizon used sim cards so I could buy one, unlock it and bring it over to Canada since I haven't heard any concrete news about it coming here.

A phone that could create a parallel universe in which I could own an iPhone :D

<3 My iPhone :D

BB Bold 2. See, my job won't support anything but BB. I like the iphone enough that I'm willing to carry both it and a work-issued curve, but if I couldn't have an iphone, I'd just go with my favorite BB, which is the Bold 2.

The phone I actually like best besides the iphone is the Pre, but I don't like it enough to carry both it and a BB.

So you're willing to put up with less functionality all because you have cell phone ADD?

*shrug*

If I couldn't get an iPhone, then I'd probably either get the BlackBerry Bold, or I'd wait for an Android phone or Palm Pre to come out on AT&T.

Sprint has left too bad a taste in my mouth from my past experiences with them, or I'd consider the HTC Hero or Palm Pre. And Verizon... ewe, no. There's nothing on Verizon that interests me.
