Motorola

I'd go back to my trusty 8800X. It's a little bulkier than the iPhone and the sceen isn't as big but it does have a real keyboard.

I would probably choose the Xperia X10 or HTC HD2.

Just looked at the Xperia X10 and if it works well, it could definitely be a major competitor in this market.

EDIT: Seeing things like the Xperia X10 really makes me think if I will get another iPhone after my current contract ends. The UI really looks impressive and I have always liked Sony Ericsson.

The X10 looks very nice. I have a W705a right now and I find the UI really nice and easy to use. While I'm not in a position to replace my phone for a while, I'd most likely get another SE when I do.

I'd go for the HTC HD2 like a few other people in this thread so far. After using the iPhone, I'm convinced I don't need a physical keyboard anymore (have used BB Curve before).

Let me guess it's DUAL BAND AMPS/GSM!? lol would that thing even run on AT&Ts network anymore?

The one that I'm using right now: A Motorola Razr V3i.

I could get and afford an iPhone, but I see zero reason to get one. I don't care for mobile high-tech toys and in my book, a phone is there for exactly one purpose: To make an outgoing phone call when necessary. I don't need or want it for anything else, and I don't like to be available all the time. Call it occupational hazard - I've been on 24/7 on call duty too often in my life.

I have an iPod Touch that I use in my car, but I use it as exclusively as a music player. I use a real computer for everything else.

dang your old school...live a little man. Plus I enjoy having a device I can live on without having to be near a computer. It's great instead of using a laptop I can just use iPhone email to type up crap to people and I have a world of apps at my finger tips.

id go to just a regular flip phone. I had a blackberry storm and a curve and I would not go back to blackberry. Especially after web surfing on the iphone.

iphone is a cool phone but I dunno I dont worship it. so it matters alot less to be without it now that ive had it and experienced it. so yea id just switch to a flip phone and enjoy the benefits of a clamshell.

If that case happened, I would've wanted a Blackbery phone. However, that's the last thing that I ever think of. I still love iPhone very much.:D
