Yes, I keep both iPhone and watch on silent mode all the time.

And no, the LED don't noticeably affect battery life, it just flashes once when a notification comes in.
Ohhh but phone calls it blinks your iPhone flash a few times. That’s not bad though.

But why do you still put songs as your iPhone ringtone?

I use them for timers -- hmmm, they used to play even when iPhone was on silent, but when I tried them just now, the iPhone just vibrates instead of playing the ringtone. 🙁

I guess things changed in iOS at some point? Remember I was using an iPhone X on whatever iOS it got last.

How did you transfer your iPhone data from the old iPhone X to the iPhone 15PM?

Yea on Apple Music I have to download the song first before I set it as an alarm tone. Otherwise it will not go off.

I figured it out, I had the alarm volume turned down.
Guess what? I had the same thing happen last night! My iPhone alarm was barely audible. I actually set it super loud, but here’s the catch: I positioned my iPhone crooked on the dock. The case I had on it actually made the volume go down for the ringer. The buttons on the case are so easy to press, and when I put it sideways for StandBy, it’s like a magic trick that lowers the volume.

Oh, and by the way, the dock I use is an Amazon one I got years ago. It’s not MagSafe, but it does have an Apple Watch and AirPods charging area.

No wonder I got up late today.

I wish I had that problem 😀.

Yeah, the dock I used accidentally forgot to set my iPhone straight. The dock part pressed the volume down button because the case I was using had easy-to-press buttons, especially on the clear flower ones I have.

It still brought the ringer down on Standby.

If I used a MagSafe stand, I wouldn’t have this issue. However, my AirPods don’t wirelessly charge; it’s the wired charging case for the second-generation AirPods.

I’m using Transmit.

What about you?
I have literally never heard my iPhone or watch ring. My wife and 2 children are set to emergency bypass when they call, so they have custom ringtones (theme to Mario Bros.)...but phone is on permanent mute, and my watch has been on theater mode for 10 years (across every model). Vibration alone is enough to tell me that something is incoming.

Definitely Jingle, I can barely stand Focus but not the rest, yikes. I completely forgot the abysmally small ringtone library for the watch.

No mate, never: what I appreciate of AW is the possibility of receiving notifications just with a gentle vibration at my wrist.
I used to do that with my Apple Watch Series 1 a lot like 24/7 on silent mode 📵 but now with the 6 I only do it at night or if I’m in class or at a work meeting.

I did put a few of my close friends, relatives and family members on emergency contacts too. I put different ringtones which bruh I gotta swap them out (I haven’t changed Ringtones for years since my first iPhone) and I usually use focus modes more often than silent mode. 📵

It’ll let y’all add more or even Apple Music songs on it in watchOS 12, that’s what I’m speculating about. It’s not as many and are exclusive to watchOS y’all.

I was so happy when they offered different sounds
