Don't think there's a better phone out there right now in terms of a complete package for me.

I have Apple to thank, their complacency pushed this loyal customer into the present day modern world of Android.

After holding out waiting for a modern size display and better multitasking, just to name two reasons, I bought both a Galaxy Note 3, and a Nexus 5. These two are so fast, fun and exciting, I've decided to keep both.

The easy direct access to the file system is simply one more reason I love Android. Finally it's the way that Android syncs and blends in with my Apple ecosystem so seamlessly, that has convinced me that it's going to be my Smartphone of choice for the foreseeable future.

I use a Nexus 4 and have a BB Curve for work. The BB is dreadful, but I will admit that the battery life is great. The Nexus 4 does all I need it to do, but I wish it had LTE, but that is not enough to get me to upgrade. Since I use unlocked and prepaid, I can't imagine upgrading for another year at least. For my uses, Android and iOS provide very similar experiences. Each has somethings I like more than the other, but since we use Macs and Apple TVs, I'd probably prefer to use iOS, but I switched because of the bigger screen and price of the Nexus 4. In fact, I just picked up a Nexus 7 today because the price point is too good to justify an iPad mini. The Moto G does intrigue me, but it seems like downgrade from the Nexus 4. In a year or two, the next gen Moto G may very well be my next phone.

Can you expand on this?

Sure, I use OS X exclusively for work and home. My Mac Pro is for my design & engineering work, with some being done on my retina MBP when I'm traveling to our various labs in the UK, Germany & Italy. Now that Google Play has grown to nearly the size of the iTunes app store, there's Android equivalents for all major business apps.

My company also has a few vertical market apps just for our use with the Androids we deploy, a very handy arrangement that's proven to be very secure. Thanks to SWYPE & SwiftKey, along with the large roomy display it makes input much faster, more accurate and fun than having to type on the hard glass surface of an iPhone.

I'm so glad my company tested both and chose Android for our use, it's made my job when using a smartphone so much faster and enjoyable.

iPhone 5S although thinking of getting a BB Z30 for work and keep the 5S for private. Anyone tried a Z30?

Got rid of my iPhone 4s for a HTC One, and now own a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I can see my self keeping this for quite a while. Love Apple ,but I really love this phone. Did not take long getting use to the size either.

Starting the 14th month with my Droid DNA...finally got the upgrade to 4.2.2, hoping for 4.3 before Q2, and am loving the phone all over again.

I wish I would've stayed up with the rooting developments, but I'm just going to stay stock for the rest of the contract now. I'll most likely be upgrading to a Note 4 at the end of the year unless someone comes out with another 5" 1080p monster that catches my eyes.

Being stuck on Verizon, I can safely assume a Nexus device will be out of the question as a replacement. :(

Found my new drug called Note 3 ... Sold my S4 for it. Best phone I ever owned. S-Pen is something I thought I won't care about but once you get used to it, you don't want to put it back down. Feels like back in the Palm days lol.

Serious great piece of kit. Feels so word now to pickup smaller phones ;)
