Apple gift cards are always a popular gift for Christmas and other holidays. If you unwrapped one this year, we've put together a list of 23 ways to spend it, with all of the ideas for what to buy costing under $100 in the United States.

Keep in mind that Apple used to offer two separate gift cards, including an Apple Store gift card for in-store products and an iTunes gift card for purchasing content like apps, games, TV shows, and movies. These gift cards have since been combined into the all-in-one Apple gift card, which says "the gift card for everything Apple" on the packaging.

To redeem an Apple gift card on an iPhone or iPad, open the App Store, tap your photo in the top-right corner, and tap Redeem Gift Card or Code.

? Apple polishing cloth was the first thing you thought of?

For #11 (Disney+ subscription), I'm going to say that's not a good way to maximize value. If you check your credit card (Chase, BofA, Wells, etc.), there may be a 20% cash back offer available so if you get the 1 year sub, it's only $79.99 - $16 = $63.99 for the year.

#17 (Ember Mug)... ?‍♂️ Do people really need an app controlled mug to keep their beverage warm? What a waste of resources. Grab a Yeti mug for $25-$30 instead.

I was looking at the deals in the Itunes (Or is it Apple TV) store and they have a number of great bundles. Maybe that could have been something that was summarized in this article other than getting a mug.

You can save up your apple gift cards and after ten or so years have enough to get get a discount off the price of bumping up the ram and drive space on a mac to useful levels.
Given the realities of inflation, I'd much rather put my cash elsewhere over a 10-year span of time.

Can we use giftcard to buy apps in Apple's app store? I cannot find a way to do it.

I miss those old "iTunes" cards because they'd frequently go on sale for 15% or even 20% off. I'd buy up a bunch of credit and essentially take a big discount on any app, or in-app purchase or Apple cloud service I used.
Target, Best Buy, and Amazon somewhat frequently have sales on $100 Apple gift cards. Buy $100 and you get a $10 or $15 gift card for that retailer.

Also, your credit card (e.g. Chase, Citi) may offer 15% discount for redeeming points for an Apple gift card.

I’m planning to do this with my Freedom; comes out to only $5.34/mo so it’s a no brainer.

For Apple Gift Card though? That all goes toward polishing cloths.

My son got me a 50 dollar gift card… I have no clue what to get cause when I got my 13 PM I went through my subs and apps and re upped them all or got rid of some. I am sitting here with 50 buck and no clue what to do.
