How exactly? I have not been able to use to buy anything from the Apple Store.

The Apple store uses your apple balance first by default and then goes to your credit card. Maybe you need to put in a single credit card before you can actually make a purchase, or authorize the device to the Apple Store so you can make purchases. Other than that it's weird you can't make purchases.

Yes. You just redeem the card into your apple account and it becomes part of your overall balance. You can use that balance for anything Apple related.

Thanks. In the past, I used gift card to buy Apple hardware. I just entered the pin number and the order system did the rest. I went to the app store and found that redeem option. It seems to me that if I redeem the gift card in Apple's app store, whatever points I have can only be used in the app store from now on (which means I can only use the points to buy apps) and I won't be able to use it to buy hardware. Can anybody please confirm if this is true or not?

I'm glad you posted these options because I was trying to decide between an Apple Polishing cloth with an AirTag or half a HomePod mini and forgot I can just use this thing to pay for iTunes crap now.

Also if you have Disney+ may as well wait for No Way Home on there unless you're a fanatic. Apparently it's going to Starz first because of Sony but then it should make it's way over later next year. I didn't see it because I didn't want to risk killing my elderly grandparents with covid over the holidays, and at this point omicron is bad enough that I'll probably just rent it when it comes out and then "own" it with Disney+. I kinda prefer to watch stuff at home anymore anyway, OLED is slick and the theater is overrated. I'm looking forward to the day my wife decides to do something else and shuts down her daycare business and I can install a massive home theater downstairs. The main problem I have is my surround sound setup is not ideal due to the layout of my living room and there is no good solution aside from using AirPods Pro but that's still kinda weird and not ideal.

Think about investing in an Apple device or accessory that improves your online experience, like an iPad or a pair of AirPods. Alternately, you can use the gift card to buy software from the App Store, such as games, music, or apps.
