What to do with 1st Gen AirPods?

If you ordered the new 2nd Gen AirPods, what are your plans with your 1st Gen AirPods?

I wish Apple offered a trade-in value on AirPods towards store credit or something, like they do with iPhones, iPads and Macs...Now I don't know what to do with my 1st gen AirPods. They still have great battery life, but I went ahead and ordered the 2nd gen AirPods yesterday with the wireless charging and engraving.

Guess I can clean them up and sell them...

What does everyone else plan to do?

Apple should be the first company to step up to the plate with some type of proper trade up program. Most people want the latest and greatest, so why not have some kind of proper road map? Not just buy it and either resell it or recycle it for free.

Can someone tell me the difference between the 1st. gen and 2nd gen AirPods beside the wireless charging case? I might pick one up tomorrow. Can 2nd gen change music tracks, repeat a track, +/- volume directly from AirPods.

Thank you... After reading this comparison, I'll stick to my wired apple earbuds. I don't want to yell out Siri eveytime I want to change music tracks or +/- volume.
