I don't expect anything but hope for a new version of Final Cut Pro/Extreme or what ever they will call it :D

I believe we'll see Logic 8, and Final Cut 6 (studio). These "secret" new
features in Leopard probably have to do with the iPhone IMHO and
won't be seen until WWDC. ;)

hehe I very much hope you're right about Logic, but while I hope for the same, I dare not believe it. Nothing has indicated that it will appear as far as I have noticed..

will there be a video showing if something is released or talked about at NAB. Because i would much rather see someone showing the secret features of leopard rather than just reading something about it.

MBP and MB

Considering the Mac Pro's are outfitted with 3.0 Clovertowns exclusive to the market, would it be that far off to think that maybe Apple could have gotten a head start with Santa Rosa? I just think that Cinema Displays, and pro Multimedia software doesn't warrant a special event.

It may be NAB, but it is still an Apple special event that they announced all the way back in early March or something, and they introduced an MBP last time, didn't they?

I also have my hopes up because of a staples employee poster on another thread who claims MB's are coming up discontinued at Staples, as well as iWork and iLife, but I'm not putting too much weight on it, and I think my point above stands fine alone.

However, I also think that we will get an exact release date for Leopard in addition to another preview, so maybe that could be the focus.

Nothing mentioned in this thread so far is going to happen, except maybe HD iTunes.

But mostly, NAB is going to be the introduction of Final Cut Studio 6.

They aren't going to update Macbooks/Pros a month before Santa Rosa comes out. Leopard is going to be out at WWDC.

BUT... apple might have advance hardware from intel, and they will announce now, and sell in a few weeks

I'll retract what I said about Logic, who knows when that's coming out. But I stick to the rest of my story:

Santa Rosa ships in April official "release" is early May.

They introduced the 17" MBP at NAB last year.

So we are sure that Apple is having a special event right??? What day and time is it, and is Steve hosting?

Now that Leopard is delayed, I don't see what they can announce. There's the expected software, but then what... It's my understanding that notebooks won't see an update until Santa Rosa, Mac Pros were just updated, iPods maybe but it seems like the wrong venue.
