I'm holding out a little hope for a Dark mode reveal in the GM
You people just don't get it.

Apple held entire Labs at WWDC for the measly dark mode on tvOS. It is NOT happening. Get over it.
[doublepost=1473014883][/doublepost]How we talk about things that are actually going to happen?

Single-Sign On for Cable subscriptions in Apps is huge feature still yet to appear in the tvOS beta and is actually coming in the GM.

I'm looking forward to widgets all looking the same instead of white :apple: and dark third-party. I am also with the people that say third-party rich notifications and third-party Siri integration

you can see the force touch rich notifications on non-3d touch devices by swiping and tapping view. for stock apps like messages.

what will come after release is 3rd party apps taking advantage of rich notifications. for non-updated apps it just shows the non-rich notification at the moment.
What will rich notifications bring that aren't already being used by some 3rd party apps in the beta? Fantastical for reminders for instance shows Complete, Snooze x amount, Snooze y amount, Snooze z amount. Spark shows Quick Reply, Archive, Mark as Read.

How much more rich can that get?

[EDIT]

Nevermind. I didnt realize the notification view itself was the rich part. It's not going to be interactive, besides the buttons below the notification, but it'll definitely help users visualize more complicated notifications. Below is an example I found.

Exactly.

Another example is, what you see for Messages now, showing previous messages, WhatsApp might be able to do. At they very least they will be able to show an image in the notification. That's one example Apple devs talked about.

BTW the examples you gave of multiple options were always there for several major iOS releases on alert notifications, not just in this beta

And I liked how they were implemented better before (it's quit slow animation wise on non-3D touch devices). That's why I was confused as to what was rich. Got it now.

I want more devs to implement the new widget style on the homescreen (like found in the weather app). Also iMessage Apps

That will no doubt happen eventually. iOS 10 puts a bigger focus on widgets, so a lot of 3rd party devs will more than likely rewrite or redesign their widget to be optimized for the new style. How quickly that happens is to be determined (as an example it took even some big name developers a long time to add 3D Touch. Or remember when 3rd party needed to optimize for the 6 and 6+ screen sizes, that took a long time for some as well.)

Looking forward to iMessage apps but - and this worries me a little more than it should I admit - I have a horrible feeling that the App Store will flood full of IAP compatible apps and we'll constantly be stung with "buy the extra packs for only x". I'm hoping some of the image heavy apps (Bitmoji, Gif Keyboard etc) that currently have keyboards will just add in iMessage app compatibility as part of an update, but recent years has taught me to be wary of new ways the iOS using public can be harvested of more cash.

I believe it's a seperate App Store that is used for iMessage apps. (At least when accessed through iMessage you will only see apps that pertain to what you're looking for)

I agree, though, that the low barrier to entry for sticker-type apps could lead to a lot of really bad offerings there.

That's true it will probably be flooded with a lot of crap. However, there isn't supposed to be any actual coding involved in making one. People could in theory just make their own and never have to search through the bad.

I just hope they are segregated from the other apps. This is an area where I expect a lot of really creative stuff and I don't want to have to go through a million Hello Kitty sticker pack apps to find it.

You can and will be able to search for what you're looking for in the message App Store. In iMessage tap the App Store icon, then tap the four square icon in the bottom left, then tap over to the Manage tab and there is a search magnifying glass icon in the top left of the card. Did a quick test and it will find packs you haven't installed yet (in my test I did the search for the Hearts pack that I've never installed and it gave me the result for it)

This:

Dark Mode
Customisable Control Centre

And:
- Swipe keyboard option with Apple's own keyboard
- Siri support for any (third party) app
- Mandatory URL scheme support for any app and major features in app so you can quickly access these via e.g. Launcher widget. I can open a lot but not all features and apps.

wrong thread, i'm sure there's an ios 11 wish list somewhere

Yup, and the worst part is it is by design. They spent way too long stressing that anyone can put stickers in there wth no coding experience. A noble goal, but one that will end up with tons of junk at the end of the day.

Some of those might be in the final release, but others could become available in iOS10.x
Right, but they were NOT identified in the Keynote, which is the criteria for discussion in this thread. I can speak somewhat authoritatively on that. I'm all for you discussing stuff you want to see, but there are other threads for that.
