first i will probably just stare at it in shock for a few minutes, then when i realize that it is real i will probably test out the web browser and see how my fav. websites look on the iPhone. then i will sync all my music and put some videos and "The Office" onto it too. haha
The first thing I am going to do is make a few calls on it. Next, I'm 'gonna hit the web browser and attempt to post on one of my favorite sites with the iPhone. I suppose after that I'll load it up with contacts, pictures music etc.
SYNC. Do you guys think the iPhone will come pre-charged like my MBP?

Hmm... I'm not sure it will come pre-charged. I'm hoping it will (and would love that), that way we won't have to wait to play with it!
However, I'm sure there will be an initial charge for it that will take a little bit of time.We shall see.

Since I'm waiting to buy one, but will be at the AT&T store for launch, I'm going to call Apple's headquarters at 408.996.1010 and ask to have a personal message delivered to Steve and the iPhone team that it truly kicks ass and they did an awesome job and can't wait to buy one when they have 3G (well, maybe not that last part)!

Call my friend, yell "iPhone!", and hang up. Then I am going to the SoCal flagship store and will run up and down the line yelling "iPhone!" and flashing it at all the Apple fans.
I plan on taking my new iPhone to my local apple store (since im getting it at an ATT store) and using it like nothing is up- like i've had it for years.

It looks as if supply for the iPhone should be okay so you probably won't get much on ebay, plus you would have to cancel the contract so you will probably loose money on it. When I get one, which will be sometime, when they come out in the UK is, read the instructions, charge it, look at it, and them power it up, follow the wizard on the screen, I'm assuming there will be calibration settings that need to be set? and then sync it up and have a play.
i will probably text some friends, just to make them jealous. then i will make some calls to try out the voice and reception quality. then i will load all my music and videos to it and watch some vids
I just spent the last two days trying to complete my Address Book entries. Most of my contacts were just "Name", "Number", "E-mail". Now, out of 184 contacts, a majority now have multiple e-mails, addresses, updated phone numbers, and a photo. I can't wait to make/receive calls and see my friends images pop up!
1. Surf the web to see what true accessibility there is to the web with the iPhone on EDGE
2. Put in my address book. I may enter them one-by-one just to touch the phone and get used to the keyboard.
I am going to open the one application that has never been shown and see what they heck is in the Notes and how what do they think they are going to sync with.
