what would you think about a badge on the notification center icon (in the menubar)?

If you want counter, the Adobe way is more elegant than the badge.

And it draw my attention every time.
 
I would like something like this. Suprised they didn't add it! Seeing as though they had a blue target icon for new notifications in the beta.
