23" iMac, Miditower, or Mini with 1.83 preferably Merom, but if I wait for a Mini I might as well wait till 2007 for a X3000 MB with better graphics. So I'll take one of the 1st 2.

While I'm waiting for things I may never get. I know we rely on today's youth to be the future. But can we raise the MR age limit to 17.

im sorry but why raise the limit? i am under that age and don't cause problems. I try to help fellow mac users and learn stuff at the same time.

I picked other, I currently have a MacBook Pro 15" and to get me to sell it and buy a new one I'd want a 15" MacBook Pro with a Core 2 Duo, FW800, dual layer burner, and good video that isn't under clocked.

I wouldn't say no to an iPhone, once it's time to replace my current phone. But, since I got my SE Z520i not too long ago, it's not critical... :)

Also would like to see a 23" iMac, but don't need and cannot afford one, anyway, right now...

I am waiting to see what happens to the iMac on the 12th, if anything. Then it is just a hop, skip and a jump to the refurbished store in...December!

I voted new MB, iPhone and new iPod. Despite ordering a MB on Sunday, i can still sell it for a lot more than i bought it for so make a profit and get a better computer, but hopefully it will have dedicated graphics.

I really don't think that there will be dedicated graphics in the next macbook upgrade unless the macbook pro gets signifigantly upgraded to justify the $1000 price gap. But you never know.

Think Different

I'm still wondering how long it's going to be before you can easily work with your computer by voice command.

Like " Computer remember that track we were working on yesterday, how 'bout bringing that up and we'll take it from there."

Or" what strings do I have to choose from, how about letting me hear what we have to work with."

What happened to voice command?

I mean real practicle voice command.

I'm not sure where voice command is going as nobody seems to want to use it.

As for the 24" iMac, this was the thing I didn't see coming.

For threads with annoying hyper-active subjects to stop popping up.

As for voice command - there are just some things better done with a mouse, or with your hands.

For example, how will you tell a computer to paint a picture?

I think a better, and more practical solution than voice command would be thought command.

I voted for the cell phone because I really would be interested in seeing what Apple comes up with. I want a new iPod (my 2nd gen 20gig is showing its age with all these hot young iPod walking around) and I need a new cell phone because mine is beginning to crap out.
If I could get a phone/iPod, that'd be great if done well... I just hope it turns out decent enough for me to decide to get one.

What I'm *really* waiting for right now, though, is the octo-core Mac Pro. Do I need all of that processing power? No way... but it'd be awesome to have and it'd likely last me a really long time as long as the whole thing didn't just completely die.
Plus, if the octo-core is way too expensive (if it's more than $1,500 or so over the 3GHz Mac Pro) then maybe at least the quad-cores will drop in price a little and I can get one of those at a relatively decent price.
