I want diablo immortal, but it’s not yet listed for beta. And I am hopeful blizzard won’t push this as they always do their titles. Looks promising though

I'm worried blizzard will kill their diablo mobile because the PC gamer babies freaked out and cried over them doing something that wasn't for PC.

I'm hooked on PUBG.....

Camping in a house with an AKM and an 8x..... catching someone between the eyes 300m away..... on the new 12.9" iPP on max settings..... is pretty darn satisfying. :)

pubg is mostly bots, shooting bots isn't that satisfying once you've been playing a while. They try to make you think there are 100 players in the match but its fake, there's 10-15 max with all the rest fake. Theres now like 5 maps and it divided the player base into 5, so they need even more bots to fill out games. This is something fortnite got right, they have 1 map that constantly changes, so they can release new map content without dividing their player base. Hate to point this out but you can't even put an 8x on the akm.

AWM I meant... with the .300 Magnum ammo.

Yes, there are a lot of bots... I agree they'd be better off with 1 map that they just keep making better.

But bot/player is pretty obvious... they just run up on you out of nowhere and stand still. I wouldn't say 10-15 real players in a game though... maybe half.

I still like it better than Fortnite. I hate the cartoon feel and the building.

For Fortnite's "building" mechanic.... I think it would work better if they let teams build up full on castles first... guarding a hidden chest of gold or something.... then defend them as people attack.... taking turns on offense/defense..... much better than just throwing up towers here and there then running to the circle.

I came back to play a match, landed in pecado. It was very exciting to see about a dozen people land their. They were going into buildings, shooting at each other, I knew it was going to be a fun match. But they were all bots! Not a single real player. Bots go into buildings and shoot from windows now. Out in the open the jump around and take cover if shot at. Seems like they put more effort into these bots than anything else!
[doublepost=1550256193][/doublepost]If you just want to blow stuff up without the nuance and attention required by fortnite and pubg, there is robot warfare. You upgrade your robots and weapons over time and it usually comes down to the biggest gun player wins, but skill is usually a factor. Blowing stuff up without having to worry about listening to footsteps or trying hard can be fun sometimes.

I don’t know how you guys play pubg using the touchscreen on iPads, I’ve tried on mine and can never get comfortable compared to playing on my iPhone

I've only ever played on iPad but it is true that serious players do not play on tablets. Not a single one of them.

The 3D Touch in my 8+ I feel is a great advantage too since you don’t need to move your thumb to fire, get that bit of advantage i notice

It isn't an advantage because good players are using double claw grip. This is moving and aiming with the 2 thumbs, pointer finger on one side for fire, and pointer finger on other side for jump and all other buttons. The other fingers are for holding the device. It does not feel natural at first but it will feel natural. This is how people can jump, aim, and fire at the same time.

Still an advantage over the average user without 3D Touch or the claw grips is what I meant

I’ve quite enjoyed playing a terraforming game called TerraGenesis - it’s still a bit rough around the edges but improving all the time and the concept is really interesting!

Not to hijack this thread, but I would really like to get into Civ VI, but every time I start playing, I get around 30 turns in and nothing has happened and I have no clue what to do (the options can be a bit overwhelming). Do you have any advice on how to get more into it and stick it out? I’d love to get into that “one more turn...” mentality!

On topic, my favorite games are Brawl Star and (don’t crucify me) Fortnite. Might have to pick up PubG based on the popularity it has around here!
I agree re: Civ VI; it’s a lot harder to get into than V was. It’s hard to put your finger on exactly what’s wrong with it, but if I had to take a swing at identifying the issues I’d say:
1 - everything looks oversized on the map, this makes it look crowded and more difficult to identify what’s going on at a glance.
2 - the UI is similar, it’s somehow harder to know where to go to get exactly what you want/ need and what you need to do to unlock those options.
3 - unbalanced AI, this was partly rectified with rise and fall adding the loyalty thing for cities, but it still feels to a large extent as if focusing on military is the only guaranteed way of achieving victory.

I can't upvote Grimvalor enough, but you really need a MFI controller to get the full experience. I played it projected to my 4k tv via the HDMI adaptor, and it has me wishing for a native Apple TV app, which will probably never come.

Gaming on a iPad Pro 11” has changed my opinion on mobile gaming all together. I never cared for mobile gaming at all.

I can say that a iPad Pro, is like a console but better!

I play GRID™ Motorsport, PUBG, and Ark Survival Evolved.

I play PUBG very competitively. And it’s so smooth, sometimes I feel like the larger screen and butter smooth experience give me a unfair advantage against the other players at times.

Isn’t it great? Oh my goodness your speaking my language.

I play this game all the time on my 11” 1TB iPad. I freaking love it! And wish that 8X optic wasn’t so hard to come by lol.

Fun fun fun!

I love the M14 rifle with the 8X, and a suppressor on there. Awesome combo!

I pretty much just stick to the "Sniper Training" mode in Arcade.... much more what I'm looking for out of the game.

I fail to see in which gaming aspect it would beat a dedicated console. While I love that GRID was adapted for iPad, the missing support for any force feedback and no native controller makes this a rather second grade experience to me. Besides, the game feels much more immersive the bigger the screen is.

We are only scratching the surface on the iPad Pro. More and more developers are going to catch on that the iPads pro CPU will fold a Xbox one x cpu at the knees. And the gpu is better than a Xbox one s. iOS 13 will come and make the iPad a more legitimate mobile computer. And more and more games will come that will make it a very fun gaming platform. If I’m not mistaken, the developer that ported GRID™ to iOS made a lot of money doing it. I can see GTA 5 making it over, and Skyrim too. One of my favorite game developers of all time, Bethesda is about to release probably one of the most popular titles on iOS. Elder scrolls blades. The success of these titles are going to change the way of iOS gaming all together.

They could bring some demanding games to iOS and the iPad Pro can run them.

I am awkward with a controller, although I’d like to try one out, I always used a keyboard and mouse my entire life. So, the touch controls using a larger screen are ok. But I cannot do it on a phone they are too small.
