I like to listen to You Look Nice Today with Scott Simpson, lonelysandwich, and hotdogsladies; and The Talk Show with John Gruber and Dan Benjamin.

As for podcasts that I CREATE, some friends and I make Guten Abend--a mélange of 60 % cacao. It's not up on iTunes yet, and in the name of shameless self-promotion, listen here.

These days it's a lot of music podcasts...

  • KEXP Song of the Day
  • NPR: All Songs Considered
  • NPR: Second Stage
  • Tuneage Podcast

...a few tech podcasts...

  • NPR: Technology
  • The Rissington Podcast
  • The Talk Show
  • This Week in Tech

...and the always hilarious...

  • You Look Nice Today

GoNintendo (iTunes Link) These guys crack me up, great crew, great news, great fun! I love this show, i remember back when it was the NintendoNow podcast way back in 2005. They are building a name for themselves, and the chief of staff is in touch with many industry insiders, as well as other journalists, including Matt Casamassima of IGN. Thank you Gonintendo :)

The Thundering Herd

You might want to know that starting on 25 August 2008 you can download the entire broadcast of The Herd with Colin Cowherd from the ESPN Radio Insider web page at no charge, thanks to a sponsorship deal from GEICO. That tells me ESPN may soon make the whole show broadcast available for iTunes subscription download. :)

All the posts i this thread seem to be very America centric since I havent heard of a single one of the podcasts mentioned on this entire thread! Oh well heres my favourites anyway:

  • Adam and Joe
  • The Scott Mills Daily
  • Chris Moyles Show (if you can stomach it - only when bored)
  • The Ricky Gervais Podcast
(everything listed to this point will be the funniest things you will ever hear!)

  • TikiBarTV
  • IndieFeed: Dance & Electronica
  • Mandarin Chinese Lessons with Serge Melnyk

and of course I have to shamelessly plug my own:
  • Turning Taiwanese HD (and SD) - A Podcast about Taiwan :)

Rush Limbaugh's podcast is the only one I listen to all the way through, the rest of them I listen to for like 5 min and get distracted.
Agreed 100%.

I am surprised Jobs doesn't support Rush with iTunes, because Rush gives Apple/Jobs about $1,000,000 of free advertising every year on his radio show.

APM - Marketplace Morning Report
Dave Ramsey Podcast
Sidepodcast - excellent coverage of F1!
KCRW's Le Show w/Harry Shearer
Wait Wait Don't Tell Me - THE NPR News Quiz Show
