I looked at the auction. It is listed as a 2017 model (Or "year of issue" in the local language). The model is NOT the same as the year purchased. I would dispute it and get your money back.

HOWEVER, the auction was for "parts only/ not working", and there isn't much of a difference between the 2015 and 2017 model year - especially if they are "parts only".

Is it really worth your time?

There are differences in the parts I was interested.
The time question is indeed justified.

"The eBay Money Back Guarantee protects you in cases where an item is not received or is not as described in the listing. It covers purchases paid with PayPal and most other electronic payment methods." Would hope it is similar outside of the US

Whether it was a mistake or not, you didn't get the item that was described. A 2017 iMac is not an iMac bought in 2017, following that line I actually have a 2018 iMac and special 2022 MBP if anyone would like to buy 🙂 If it doesn't work for you file a claim, I really doubt he would win especially considering the listing says 2017 model. I don't really get the arguments here. Whether you spent $5 or $1000, you were deceived and aren't obligated to take the financial hit

Yes, you are right.
OP should paid 30EUR to ship it back and receive his 101EUR.
We really don't know why he's keep whining about that.

Or break it like I said on the previous page and literally make all his money back and probably more.
I was mostly on his side until we dug a little deeper and found out this whole debacle is about a parts machine he got for the price of half a dozen large pizzas.
Just break it, sell the small parts for spares and chalk it up to experience.
To make such a drama about it he's not half had a sheltered life.

Can you please be generous on your time and money?
