Just upgraded all of my gear thanks to a friend who upgraded all of his so I bought his gear

Nikon D7000
Nikon 10-24 3.5-5.6
Nikon 24-85 2.8-4
Nikon 80-400 4.5-5.6
Nikon 50 1.8
BlackRapid Sport strap
Nikon SB24 flash with remote trigger and umbrella
Various filters

This was a big upgrade from my D200 and my 18-70 was not working that good. I sold that off along with a 70-300 Sigma to recoup some of the costs.

My next purchase is better lighting gear as I am starting to shoot people a lot more.

Sounds like an awesome set up! You should post a picture!

Medium Format Bag by Wyro the Elder, on Flickr

Nice to see a film user in the mix here! I have a couple of film cameras left over - FM2 and a Fuji Rangefinder 645w (roll film and tack sharp lens). I'll probably sell the FM2 along with the one lens left - 105 Vivitar Series One Macro. I think I still have my Minolta Flash meter and the regular ambient Minolta meter went south on me a couple of years back. Those were great days and even better when I could do my own b/w and Cibachrome printing.

Did you spot it on froknowsphoto.com by any chance? I thought they looked very interesting.

It was on the grapevine somewhere...

Here's my main bag. A huge Lowepro Vertex 300 backpack that I aim to swap for a hard rolling case. The Vertex is tough, extremely well padded with big straps ideal for long treks however I really just need a mobile gear cupboard. I wouldn't carry this much gear any kind of distance - I'd get back trouble!

Inside is my Hasselblad H3DII-39 with 50-110mm lens, 80mm lens, 1.7x teleconverter, 2 26mm extension tubes, a pair of Yongnuo flashes, pocket wizards, spare batteries and charger, cleaning tools, lots of light modifiers and filters including some home made diffusion and grad filters. There is also a Canon 17-35mm lens in there that wouldn't fit in my other camera bag.

Bag 2 has my Canon 5DII and associated gear - 28-70, 70-200, video mic, Zoom sound recorder, another flash etc.

I've had most of this kit quite a long time and I generally prefer to have high quality stuff that I could use with my eyes closed than the latest shiny new product. I'm not sentimental though and sell off anything I don't use. Everything here has had to pay for itself through commercial work.

Those fuji rangefinders look awesome and they have pretty good prices for used 6x9 cameras! I took a darkroom class two years ago and completely fell in love with the whole process. But right now I don't have access to a darkroom so I'm doing the whole hybrid process of shooting and scanning! I can't wait to get my first rolls developed from the Hassleblad!
