Pismo

2 and 1/2 years ago I purchased a Pismo with 500mhz, airport, photoshop, dvd, 20GB, dual FW, all for $410 off of ebay. When it arrived in the mail it had a $50 check attached to it because he said he forgot to mention that the PC card slot eject button was a bit faulty. It was a gift from my family to my cousin. He still uses it to this day - All for $360.

Wow...

I had to dig through my email to find the details, but last year, I purchased my current computer from another MR member.

I purchased a 1 year-old Rev. C 15in PB (1.33 GHz, 80GB HD, 1GB RAM), Additional Power Adapter, Retail Tiger (in Box), Extended AppleCare, and 4 issues of MacAddict for $1800 shipped. The best deal ever, IMO.

Hey,

got all of my macs used but in excellent condition, and then was able to sell some for some profit.

Here are some of the deals that I had in the recent past.
17" 1.67 high resolution $1100 around feb.
15" Aluminum 1ghz - $500 around feb
12" 1.5 combo - $650 around march
12" 1.5 superdrive - $700 in may
12" 1.33/1.25gb - $600 current
My current Powermac G4 desktop in sig - $200 (+$80 for radeon 8500 card)

There have been quite a few others but the best deal that I ever had was the g5 in my sig that I got for $900 last summer after all the upgrades. I definitely miss having that one.

Where in the world did you find the powermac for $200 and the 17 inch powerbook for $1100?
