And I am pretty sure when I installed 32 bit windows on my 1,1 that it would only recognise 2gb of ram, even though much more was installed. that is, half of the usual 4gb recognised.....

2.5- 3.5 GB is about the limit for 32 bit Windows.

say you have a 512k graphics card, you should get 3.5gb, but i was getting less than 2. I think 64bit also worked ? , but gave me 1/2 the installed ram.... its been a while

64-bit Windows should address all the RAM fine

yes it should, but it did not, even though it all showed up in macos. this was with a 1,1. i gave up on them after that....

Pretty strange. I’ve run 64 bit Windows 10 on a 1,1 recently with all 32GB RAM addressed. 5770 card I believe.
