apple will never implement a design change just for one iphone model. So Answer is 0. If they implement it this year then they will have it for at least 2-3 iphone models going forward

Not just this design change, any design change in iphones (starting iphone 6 in 2014) will never be there for just one iteration of iphones . So the rumored shorter notch will be here for 2022 as well. May be 2023 models will see a notchless iphone

Fully expect TouchID to be in the power button for the 14 tbh (without axing FaceID).

Why? There would be no better time to use the pandemic as a salespoint.
They had more than enough time to develop.
Why should they hold it back for another year?

I’m only saying that as rumors point to it coming to the 14, not the 13.

position when in landscape mode which is where I normally am. Also it is very pressure sensitive between reading fingerprint and operating as power button. I find a lot of the time I use for verification it turns screen off / or locks
CTHarry, all you have to do is go to ‘Accessibility’, then ‘Top button’ and then enable ‘rest finger to open’ and voila problem solved. Tap the screen to wake it, you dont have to press the power button, just rest your finger (good idea to register a finger on each hand), Touch ID activates and your at the home screen instantly. I honestly cant remember the last time i actually ‘pressed’ the power button.

Alright, having seen all your responses, do you think Apple would seize the opportunity to sell more Watches should the new iPhones not end up shipping with Touch ID?
