I'm sure everyone ranting about this article uses a two-button mouse with their Mac.

Nope... And while you can defend the opinion that MacBooks should have a 2-button mouse, it's hard to defend an author who fails to mention the "two-finger click" feature in an article about the MacBook's lack of a second mouse button.

accuracy of the article aside, she's 100% right. There's no reason for 1 mouse button. It's ridiculous. With so many features that require a right click, it seems a bit silly that Apple is still hanging on to 1 buttoned mice.

I was about to say, the MB is definitley over an inch thick, the black isn't shiny, you can double click, it's not 'decently fast', it beats any other duo laptop on the market except for the toshiba qosimo which comes at 2.0 ghzfor $2400.

Also, it says most mac users don't even know about ctrl+click. Give me a break.

She even admits that apple makes the mighty mouse, but she made it seem like apple introduced it and then discontinued it.... that's odd that it comes STANDARD on mac desktops!

Sorry if this has been completley incoherent, it just really 'grinds my gears'.

You know what grinds my gears? ah HAHAHA good times...

Honestly of all things that was the one thing I was always scared about switching. I remeber working on a G5 about 3 years ago and the iMac with the little swivvle screen, and I was editing and got so mad because I didn't have any help and new nothing about macs. I kept wanting to right click but nothing... I just kept going to the menu bar at the top and was hitting copy. pasty that way because I like the knoweldge for really anything to do with a computer a few years ago...

And here I thought the boo boo was this: Could have sworn the black MacBook was matte. :p

I was going to say the exact same thing about the matte finish!

I really hope that Molly Wood isn't a journalist outside of CNET... yes, it was a review, but she was very biased. She didn't look for the alternative to the right-click, and titled the piece "The MacBook problem: it's the mouse, stupid ." I think she's the stupid one for assuming that the MacBook was shiny like the black Nano. Daaamn, she got schooled in the review's comment area. Ha.

CNET is biased against Apple. They always have been. Remember that Acer vs. MBP article? The Acer won, even though it got spanked in every category! I think it was the "plethora of ports" that won it for Acer. Who uses all those ports!?

What's unfortunate is that many people turn to CNET for reviews. Apple is getting the kick in the butt from CNET when it comes to there products.

This article is another example of CNET obvious bias against Apple.

Someone write a Virus(windows obviously) and attack the CNET site until it crumbles and is forced to shut down. :)
