What's your favorite and least favorite thing about the iPhone X?

Coming from a 7+ I’m happy to have a slightly smaller phone, one I can comfortably leave in my pocket when I sit down (I’m a big guy too). I haven’t had a chance to get a case but I’m also loving the “gripability” of the glass back. Also loving the edge to edge screen, much more than I thought I would.

My only gripes would be the cost of Apple care and potential repair costs of not having it. That and the fact my kids are constantly trying to play with anamojis.

Coming from larger phones, the smaller size of the X, yet keeping a big screen, is the big favorite for me.

Ironically, my least favorite is the X being too small. I wish it was just a bit larger, at least in width.

That would be my only dislike as well. Is the iPhone X feels much smaller than what I anticipated. It's not really an issue, but I do look forward to next year when Apple introduces the rumored 6.5 iPhone X.

Most favorite (although it’s by far my overall favorite device) is the screen size/form factor.

The only thing that bugs me, and it’s minor, is the functionality of Face ID in landscape.

I haven’t got mine yet so I’m sure this will change when I get it on Monday.

Favourite: Design, camera
Least favourite: size (too small), price, no Touch ID

My favorite thing is the size. Coming from the iPhone not plus, I enjoy having larger print and more screen real estate.
My least favorite thing is the color shift on the OLED screen.

My favorite is the smaller form factor with nearly same size screen as iPhone Plus models, reduced bezels etc...

Battery life and FaceID are my least favorite. Battery life is nowhere near as good as my 7 Plus and FaceID works most of the time but it is just a bit more annoying/slower than TouchID but I get smaller bezels/form factor so it's a wash in that regard.

I read a lot and the screen I find much easier on the eyes when reading iBooks.

I think the navigations are to slow (yes an iOS 11 thing but). i.e the face id navigation and also the handling of the sleep button. Seems to take for ever to dim the screen, so much that you can press the button and then open an app before it locks you out (yes I know its waiting for a double click but that interval seems to long)

My least favorite thing is that FaceID is impossible to use if you're laying in bed, have decent pillows, and aren't laying flat on your back with your phone above you parallel to the ceiling. You also can't unlock it if your phone is sitting on the coffee table and you just want to reach forward and unlock it.

It is also impossible to unlock the phone discreetly.

My favorite is the ability of the OLED to display actual complete black. I use my phone at night to watch tv/movies in bed, and that adds a new level of immersion. Also cuts down on eye strain in a big way-for me.

Pulling down from the top right ear for the Control Center is lame, so that’s my peeve.

Fav - Design, camera, and those speakers!

Everything else, including iOS in it’s present state, is ...yawn....blah!
