IMO that is too broad a statement. Power User covers a wide base and this feature is of use to some but not to others. For me, it is too limiting.
maybe I didn’t make myself completely clear.

what I meant by power users is people who have the motivation to take the time to configure it or who thinks it worth it.

so geeky people i guess :)

but i Agree it could be better. But it is already more than I expected honesty.

What’s your favorite thing about iOS 15?

That at the moment its a Developer Beta and it confirms that I’m better than the people that don’t have developer access. It helps with my superiority complex:cool:😃

The new multitasking, while not what I would like for the 12.9 pro, it's a good improvement over what we had.

While nice I don’t really see the benefit, I don’t work on my Home Screen and any app can open from search in no time anyway. Does it come down to different work related widgets for you?
Yes, different apps and different widgets. Also, what apps are allowed to send notifications during work vs personal time.

I actually like the new safari on the iphone and not really on iOS but on iPadOS, I love the new quick notes.
use it regularly now and its very useful to me ..

Other than that..its all the same as before 😃

That it is so buggy and messy on my iPhone 7 so I won't have to even decide if I should update or stay on the previous one like I do every year. This is seriously the first iOS that totally ***** on the older iPhones with the old square display format.

The magnifying loupe for the text cursor is back from the dead!

I always thought I was pretty good at manipulating my phone, but with iOS 14 I could never truly place the text cursor where I wanted it to be; it was always a line or two somewhere else and I couldn't drag it easily anymore.

My favorite thing is that iOS 15 is still supported on iPhone SE 1st gen. Which means that I won't need a new phone for the next 2 years.

For me it’s Siri being processed on-device. This is a game-changer on iOS, because 30-40% of the time, my Siri requests would be met with her being unable to process what I want since she cannot connect to the internet for some reason. Now when I’m in the gym and I have a weak data connection, I can still ask Siri in my AirPods to control my music, since it’s all processed locally, and almost instantaneously.

This also extends to voice-to-text, which is far more reliable and quicker now. I can only hope that one day on-device Siri processing comes to the Apple Watch and HomePod/Mini.

The runner-up would be being able to pop into voice messages sent via iMessage, and scroll/seek through them. The most annoying thing for me is getting a voice message that’s on the longer side, having it interrupted, and having to start back from scratch. Huge waste of time! We still can’t background voice messages when they’re playing, but at least we can seek through them now.

These are two smaller quality-of-life improvements, but they make the overall experience so much better for me.

The iPad weather app. Also glad they finally did a calculator too!

I know , let me dream for a second.
I just did a forum search for "Weather iPad" hoping to learn iPadOS added a weather app and your post came up. I got really excited until I clicked the link and read the whole thing.

Now I'm back to being sad...
