You don’t need to wait that much on each try.
After starting a manual backup, you should wait a few seconds….if it’s still on preparing, just force close the app and try again after toggling Include Videos
Porthole0676 had luck with a simpler version of the procedure:You mean toggle off the toglle on again, force close the app and then try again?

I restarted the iPhone (when i first noticed the issue) and disabled and enabled WhatsApp iCloud permission on iPhone settings. None of this worked but maybe changed something.
Other than try to do the procedure quickly, not sure what else I can recommend.

Update WhatsApp.app and try again as you normally would. It just works for me now as it should.I’ve tried many many times really quickly, no luck, unfortunately.
