When did the password screen change from Password to Passcode?

Passcode isn't even a real word though! Or is it just one of those techy terms that is just commonly used?

Don't know. But "Passcode" is technically correct, since it is numbers only.

Look closer. There is the full alphabet there. My password is a word!
