I love my iPhone X but Apple's refusal to fix the garbage that is iOS 11 is infuriating. My phone was perfect until they started pushing the iOS 11 updates. Now my phone CONSTANTLY lags and hangs. I have to lock and unlock the phone to fix it. None of the updates have made any difference. It's not a memory issue, I have a whopping 56GB used out of 256GB. For the first time ever I am very disappointed in Apple.

Also x.3 versions usually have performance improvements, so let's wait and see for if and when they release 11.3.

With any iOS there will be constant updates, 11.2.5 will almost be out of development. If you don't want to wait, you can hop on the beta train as some users reporting fluidity and speed improvement.
My X, 6S and Air2 all run great on 11.2.2. I have none of the issues you’ve described. Must be some type of corruption in your OS.

Well, iOS 10 was first released on 09-13-2016 and had issues before its final version (10.3.3) was realeased on 07-19-2017.
iOS 11 was first released on 09-19-2017... so going by the past I'm guessing Apple will finally have a good version of iOS 11 by 07-25-18
Bugs are nothing uncommon, but the backlash is a lot more than usual this time. I wouldn’t be surprised if iOS 12 focuses on performance.
I have to say I totally agree with you.Being an apple fanboy from the very first iPhone this iOS has been a massive pain in the neck.I have tried and just not gotten on with Android and I feel this iOS is the closest thing to using Android without you know.......Using Android.

Sorry to be rude but maybe consider to no CONSTANTLY update the the latest and greatest software and be be like the jones
As of the last couple of betas of 11.2.5 (beta 4 was rough), I’ve been very happy with iOS 11 on my X. Sorry to hear you’re not having the same experience but I’d have to agree that it’s gotta be something to do with the apps you use. There’s way too many people reporting it’s fine to blame iOS 11 alone.
Is it worth it to restore from a backup or it will be the same? I'm suffering from the constant crashes

And warming up to it on 7+ now that I got it jailbroken
x has some bugs but I’m sure with jailbreak it’ll be sweet too it’s just a buggy release
Same on the 7+. iOS 11.2.5 runs really well and has fixed most issues for me.

Try restoring your device. That fixed my issues in the 7+.
Not for nothing but for me iOS 11 had been rock solid whether we are talking about my X or my wife's 7 or my kids 6s. It's good as well on my iPad

I also have had very little issues with iOS 11. I’m on 11.2.5 now and the speed and responsiveness is fantastic. So far battery life is very good.
