When is the 4th gen coming out?

4th Gen iPhone

I've heard January 27th, April, June, and July. Does anyone have an actual answer? I know it won't be concrete but at least what month should I expect it?

As the tablet will come in a 3g configuration as at least one option, we'll hear a lot about the new iPhone at the January event with a launch to coincide with the 3g version of the tablet in April?

I don't know how, but somehow these products are going to be linked.

I agree you are probably correct, however one caveat to keep in mind:

1st gen Aug 07 (1st gen 16 GB cap - Feb 08)
2nd gen July 08
3rd gen June 09
4th gen May 10(?) - there could be a truth to the rumor of a May launch

Again, I believe it will come out in June, though it's insteresting none-the-less.

I can't understand people moaning in threads like this. It's a Sunday. Relax and speculate. Or ignore.

Like a lot of people I think Apple will bring this forward a little in the face of the mild competition, so I tend to believe the April speculation.

I would say that though. My bought-first-day iPhone doesn't have working wifi anymore (hardware? software?). The 3GS wasn't enough of a leap forward for me so I'm sat here waiting.

Thing is I'd love something in a tablet format too so this year is going to be expensive.

Roll on 27th for clarification.
