Actually, I'm well aware of that. That's why I'm examining carefully the iPP 9.7 and iPP 10.5. I don't want another "non-laminated" screen.

It's just that I've typed "laminated" and "non-laminated" in so many posts that I'm bound to write one when I mean the other. :)

Been using the 2017 iPad for past few days, at first I liked it more for the increased brightness but after more and more use the non laminated screen is a deal breaker. The 2017 screen just seems too much like plastic and sounds hollow when tapping screen compared to air 2. I do prefer the speakers on the new iPad but I'm looking at and using the screen all the time. The 2017 performance boost is noticeable in loading some apps. I'll give the 2017 to my wife and take my air 2 back from her. She can't tell a difference but I can.

I wouldn't even touch the 2017 iPad. It would have been a good upgrade if I had the air 1 or anything even older but I saw it as a downgrade from my air 2. It lacks the laminated screen and it's heavier. The Air 2 has the A8X and the new iPad has the A9. It's not that much of a bump processor wise.

Picked up a 9.7 Pro IPad on sale at best buy $250 off but all actual reality you save $50 on the 256 GB version, going to get a 10.5 just need to catch a sale. The new features in IOS 11 made me change my mind...

So apparently tomorrow Best Buy is having a 50 hour "Black-Friday-Like" sale in which the iPad Mini 4 will be $120 off. I may get that. That's probably the lowest price I'm going to see on any iPad, right?

Picked up a 2nd gen 256gb, cell+wifi 12.9" model couple days ago. $20 off and a free $150 beatsX...thought it was pretty good deal. Btw, beatsX is pretty sweet :)
