Definitely not. Being someone who suffers from it, I took my MBP back to the place I bought it and they had a display model which was perfect (LG Screen). You could obviously notice the difference between the 2 - mine had a yellow gloom where white should be and the other was pure white.

This is a Photo-Shopped edit of the difference between the two - and the yellow tint is a slight exaggeration but that is pretty much what I'm having to put up with.
I'm not sure if I missed some information in a previous post (if you made one). Answer the following questions then look at the answers just below. Do any of them help?
1) Is the yellow tint that you show only visible when viewing at an angle?
2) Is the tint what you see on just the bottom 1/3 of the screen with the upper 2/3 being white?
3) Is it yellow tinted when viewed straight on (over the entire screen)?
If yes to #1; this is normal for LCD's, they all change apparent tint when viewed from the side.
If yes to #2; this is a defect, take it back to Apple.
If yes to #3; this can be altered by changing your colour profile.
