October 2022 seems to be the most likely scenario. Maybe an iPad / Mac event. March 2023 is another possibility.

The latest rumors are saying it gets the M2, magsafe, new smart connector and slight design changes (maybe horizontal Apple logo). Mini LED is expected to remain exclusive to the 12.9 but that may have changed depending on yields. Overall seems like a good update and maybe enough to get us 2018 owners to finally move on 😂!

Fact is Apple has put the 11” in a very awkward position. The iPad Air gets you 90% of the Pro with the exact same chip. I really hope we see the beginning of a new generation of iPad Pro. Something that sets it apart again.

Honestly, I think the M1 11" Pro is a pretty decent offering even a year and change later on.

Though, with rumors that Apple may introduce a larger size, 12.9" may become the smaller size given how much the iPad Air continues to gain ground (in terms of catching up) with each release. I'd also imagine we're probably due for a redesign soon, no?

Do you like the air 5?

It served my basic needs, so yes I do like it. :)

I actually got it for my mother, but also use it to watch YouTube occasionally. If I do get a Pro 11 I will use it for more, though honestly I think the Air is enough for my needs.

I was disappointed by the last update to the 11” ipad pro (very few changes and no miniled) and decided to wait it out.

But now my current iPad is getting slow and im really getting thirsty for a new one..

Any word on when the 11” ipad pro will get an update?
The 11” iPad Pro hasn’t had a functional update since it launched in 2018. Prove me wrong.
