Apple's Mac sales have grown faster that the overall PC market for 20 consecutive quarters. Which means that their market share has increased for 20 consecutive quarters. Lately, growth has been 20-30% over the market average.

Apple having 20% installed base by 2015 is not far-fetched.

Maybe in the US, but I think it's pretty far fetched globally. Unless iPads become routinely counted in the PC market. If that happens, Apple could get there sooner than you'd think.

Tablets and smartphones are technically PCs. I think we need to make the distinction between portable and desktop.
